Ladybaga, love your Mustangs!

Sparklelisab, you are going to be rolling on the floor after seeing MP.

Si, TangoTosca, I have thought of Fawlty Towers, but let's be gentle with Sparklelisab.

textile girl, pussywillow, ladybaga (love the user id), lanit, roseusa, tangotosca

i usually just come to read and not post since i've a grand total of only 2 70s and 1 90cm (which i never use, i just like the look of it). loving all the pics here though

Tango, thank you for doing THE LIST! You are keeping us all on track for the whole year. Much appreciated.
(And I have to say I love Fawlty Towers. "Don't mind him. He's from Barcelona.")

Hi Guys and Gals!
Sorry to hog all of the thread with my individual comments. I just love seeing the posts and get so excited for everybody. Before we leave Red Week, I have another to add....
Well, it is actually my blue and white Les Mustangs (70cm this season) but I want you all to take a look at the second picture of the sweet horse that I have named "Red." (Sorry, he is so blurry.)
Thanks for viewing.

This scarf is so summer fresh! I love the color combo and the energy!

Scarf Addict,
I love seeing this scarf modeled because it is one that I tried and passed on. It looks so perfect with your sweater, proving that it is never the scarf colors alone, but what you pair it with from your closet. We have similar taste in color and seem to be twins on many scarves. Btw, I enjoy reading your blog

Thank you Ladybaga, Lanit, Euridice, Tango, Textilegirl for the lovely comments on my FdI:flowers:

Tango - wow that is some SOTD list - brilliant and thank you for oragnising it!! I am very  of your La Danse I really need one of those for my love of the ballet!

Ladybaga - love your multi scarf looks a la Michel! they llook lovely!

Hermesguy - I really love your scarf collection and your Kachinas is lovely pop of colour against your sweater:tup:

Textilegirl - you mousse is lovely!

Euridice - wow what a fabulous blue pop! Love the dolour of the bag with your Pegase. Wonderful!

Loves - love your Printemps Ete 69 Automne Hiver 70 - we're scarf twins:ghi5:

Today still wearing purple but there is some red in it this time:yes: L'Ivresse d'Infini with another contrast hem.

Euridice, the juxtaposition of your top and the scarf is stunning.

John

Thanks so much, John!

Hi, everyone. I know I haven't been in this thread much, and I miss so many amazing people with their beautiful scarves. Just want to share this exceptional piece from Hermes. It is "Brides de Gala" cashmere and silk shawl with metal sequins, Japanese glass beads and silver and gold embroidery. It took 480 hours to create this one.

More detail pictures of the shawl on my Facebook.

Wearing it with Magic Kelly scarf as a dress with an H belt.

This is stupendous!!! What a fabulous piece that emboridered shawl is, and to pair it with a Magic Kelly dress---WOWWWW!!!! Simply fantastic, Nefredity!

Euridice, The orange beauty is so powerful and fun looking against the vivid green! You are my kind of scarf girl (loving bright color)! You look great in the lighter shades of yellow La Femme too! Thank you so much for your kind words about my red silk. I adore the red color!

Thank you! Yay, RoseUSA, sounds like we're scarf kindred spirits with the loving of bright color!! Red silk scarves ARE special, I think. something about the color red...

Skip Skip away! This combo is GORGEOUS! Who needs red when we can see your lovely La Femme? Your top looks like it was made for this!

Thanks, Ladybaga!! I'm kinda proud of this pairing :blushing: glad you like it.

OMG, "Red"---that's super adorable that you named this horse Red! A red-haired horsey, that is super-cute!!

Euridice: congratulations of your eb double sans. What a color! I think you need to get a cdc and several scarves to match...the pegasus really is unreal. Is it too late for me to find that girl???

Thank so much!! Hmm, a CDC....not a bad idea!! :graucho: I do need more electric blue!!!! More more!!

Have your SA do a search for the pegasus! Or, maybe get the embroidered shawl for $5000+!! :graucho:

Love your gorgey new scarf!!

Euridice, congrats on the Double Sens and on being twins with Lanit! I do love that Pegase of yours. (What is the cw?--or just point me to the approximate date in the old thread where you introduced it and I'll go hunt.)

VnSoie, thank you so much!! Pegase is from SS11 (the best season EVER in my opinion!), and it's...oh wow, this wasn't on my scarf spreadsheet...ummm....CW3! I had to look at the thread myself, as I am trying to keep a list of scarves!

Spring colors scarf :smile1:
(The rhytm of Chine, SS2011)

Teha, love your pink chic!!

Today I have blue and brown going on, so it's the Port au Palais in soft browns and some subtle greens. I'll try to do something red this weekend for a finale!! :p

I got this scarf fairly recently, actually. I saw it at an H store that I don't normally go to, and snatched it right up!! I've been trying to do some monochromatic scarves, and this was perfect (I'm all about the color contrasts normally!!). the thing is, the design still pops out beautifully to me even with the brown palette, and I just love it!!

Oh and I havta tell ya, after I saw this picture and realized the underside was showing, I slid the knot forward and to the other side so the end would be more right-side-up! Then a bit later, I pulled it off and flipped it over so that the dancer would be right-side-up, too!! Snapping pics for this thread helps me wear my scarves better, y'all!

Thank you for such lovely comments on my L'Ivresse: Hermesguy/John DFW, Euridice, Rose USA, Ladybaga, Sparklelisab, FritillaryB:flowers:

Sparklelisab - I think your scarf looks great against the black!

Hermesguy - another great pop of colour with your Sangles!! I agree contrast hems are more common these days - I love them too!!

Rose USA - yep the contrast hems are great.

Euridice - oh how I love La Femme - I don't have your cw but they are all TDF! Your APdP is lovely too:tup:

Nefredity - Lovely double look with your BdG/MK combo.

Ladybaga - aww:tender: thank you :hugs: I love your posts too you always look so happy! Love your Mustangs - it looks lovely and fresh for summer!

FritillaryB - I was nearly thinking that buying the L'Ivresse was a mistake until I got it out this week now I see I was right to take it - I am happy with it. The only bit I am not too keen on is the solid yellow in it - it is an odd "solid" blergh yellow that H tend to do - I have seen it in several other scarves. I love the greens and purples and pinks together though and the busy design.

Teha - Your Chine is gorgeous - how did I miss that pink?!! Is the gavroche current issue I wonder? Love love love your stylish photo! What cocktail you are drinking?!!

Today I wore L'Ivresse d'Inifi again but with my cerise cardigan this time - this brings out the pink hues in the design.

Silly goose, I already have one of these shawls to feed the cows in and lounge around the house, and the other one is for lunching with the girls! I'll post pics soon!

Now that you mention the yellow that is probably why I hesitated.. But it is absolutely gorgeous the way you have tied it and the colors you have paired it with. And it is a fascinating design. As I recall, I went for the Au Fil Du Carre in purple on the same day I tried this one so I likely didn't want two purple in one day. But it might not be too late as there seem to be a few cws of this still about in boutiques. You look lovely. Thanks for sharing this again today..
