VnSoie, You will not get a "NI" from me about your gorgeous ExLenK! That lavender and green makes me swoon. Soooo pretty!!!!!

Scarf Addict, I die every time I see your heart stopping FI. The purples and greens get me every time. I think the way you tie it is the best way to show off the colors and corners. Therefore, I shall copy your amazing look! And....another GREAT purple sweater! You're killin' me!:D

Euridice, You are the red queen! So many lovely scarves.... Where do I begin??

Oh, Euridice, that is GORGEOUS! So glad you kept it! How felicitous!

Thank you!! I'm glad, too---and glad for red week, to give me the push needed to get it out again.

A significant porportion of my H scarves are red (my favorite color). Here I present Les Cavaliers d'Or and Les Folies du Ciel.

AMAZING red scarves!!! Beautiful.

fresh morning in Paris, tying Etriers and Rytmes together, both vintage..

Wonderful vintage combination, micheldietlin!

I'd love to see more pictures of this design: it reminds me a little of Sur les Rives du Leman with its effortless colour wash effect, could they share an artist?

How this could be mistaken for Zabavushka is puzzling :shrugs: but I like the happy ending for you!

Yes, it's a weird one, and a bit of a shock at the time! lol! I'll have to look up the Sur les Rives since I don't know that one. Sounds lovely! thanks!

What a great story, Euridice! Glad it worked out in the end and of course you got 2 scarves instead of one :p Your Au Pays de Cezanne in orange/red is a beauty

I am going to disappear for a while - going on a 2-week trip. I fully expect the thread to have reached 100 pages when I come back, so I may have to lurk in the meantime :graucho:.

Thanks! Yes, when things go wrong, buy another scarf! It's a motto to live by. :p Have a great trip!!

Just picked this lovely up and finally broke it out on this rainy day:

Oh, my that is an amazing scarf!! You look gorgeous in this!

Yesterday was the first day of spring and I want to wish you all a wonderful week in welcoming my favorite season of the year. It was overcast and rain threatened, but I managed to tuck in one of my Lost Ones - my term for the silks I need to bring out more. It is more red than any other color, and one of my happiest Bay transactions that I have experienced. A completely unexpected and beautiful silk of firework colors! Feux du Ciel by Kwumi Seredin.

Like marvelous fireworks around your neck! Superbly beautiful.

Wowza! What a veritable smorgasbord of silk to feast on!
Euridice: I love mousses and your Nuees is fabulous. I too am wearing my red mousse, Axis Mundi today--will share.

Thanks! Ooh, your red mousse is just divine!! Soooo beautiful!

Polo cotton sweater over
Brooks Brothers broadcloth shirt
Kachinas 90 cm

Beautiful sunny day in DFW following 2 days of storms

John

Love your Kachinas with this striped sweater!! I'm glad you are showing those alphas some REAL style!! :D

Today airing Fleurs Indiennes with a new cashmere sweater. Not quite red! I have found this way of wearing a 90cm the most comfortable for me and also the best for keeping out of the way from my desk and anything that might catch on it, but it still shows off the scarf.

Gorgeous! Well, you just have a little blue in your red is all! Shows off the scarf beautifully.

I wore the best red scarf ever, De Passage a Tokyo, as a belt last night.

So stylin' as a belt!! Your outfit is perfection.

Wow! Hannahsophia, Lanit, sparklelisab, Euridice, Tango, Ladybaga, John, fabulous red scarves, and ScarfAddict, love that FI--anything purple wins with me any day.

thanks!

VnSoie!!! You are CRACKING me up. This is Chevre, my baby. She will eat your dandalions and whatever else you have on the ground. (I realize I have never posted my face, and this is scarfless, earring-less and donning a sweatshirt but I will swalllow vanity...)

Aw! What a beautiful picture!!

Dang Euridice, you have some beauties!! Is this pegasus? Like Lanit's? Sooo beautiful.

Yep, Pegasus just like Lanit's but not tied with quite the same panache! thanks!!

Oh, Sparklelisab, you are beautiful, and baby Chevre is too sweet! Are these bottle babies orphans? I used to help my uncle bottlefeed lambs once in a while. I want to come play with your babies!

Ladybaga, you are ON! I'll make my son bring back the MP Flying Circus videos, and we can even watch the dead-parrot and Ministry of Silly Walks sketches, and discuss scarves such as Fleurs d'Ecosse, Bolduc, and other tartan-like patterns while singing "I'm a Lumberjack and I'm OK". Then we can have a Latin-conjugating lesson while pondering Litterature; discuss perceptions of imperial occupation ("What have the Romans Ever Done for Us?"), recite the Beatitudes, and wrap it up with a discussion of the disadvantages of sharing a birthdate with an important historical figure (Brian's mum: "He's NOT the messiah; he's really a very naughty boy"). Someone should break out Neige d'Antan or another Christmas scarf at some point. Ooh, we could have a Mystery-scarf party: how does my scarf connect to the movie we're watching? Goodness, I'm a geek. It's worse than previously thought.

Always look on the bright side of life.

I am loving every Monty Python Minute of it!!! I remember staying up soooo late to see episodes on Saturday Night! (Maybe after Love American Style?)
Thanks for the red combo love! Must wait for the next snowy day in Houston to wear this much silk. However......I am eyeing a 140 washed silk........:graucho:

Ladybaga - beautiful and I'm so glad you're feeling better.
John - what delightful colors on your Kachinas. You look great!
Eurydice - I am jealous of that color of Pegase. It's so gorgeous!
Sparkle - such a cute goat. Is she Nubian? Goats are so adorable and smart and eat what other animals cannot eat! You look so lovely with her and I also love the picture with your mousse and that great jacket!
TT - you look gorgeous and ready to dance.

someone help me with the name of this scarf, is it just called automne/hiver 70? i cannot remember...
i need more 70s btw

lightbulb moment, THANKS!! xoxo

Printemps-Ete 69/Automne-Hiver 70 to be correct

The official title of this one is too lengthy an appellation: Printemps Ete is what it gets termed chez nous.

Looking rather swish in your black/yellow version - love the tights!
