Hello ladies!

I've been a lurker for a while, but I've only recently plucked up the nerve to join you all and post. Please forgive me for this post being in last week's Valentines theme - my scarf hadn't arrived yet for me to participate. :-) I've got my (new to me) Les Amoureux de Paris gavroche on today. I'm new to the H scarf world, but as soon as I found out about this design, I went looking for it since Paris was where DH proposed (on the Eiffel Tower, no less!). Though I've seen many beautiful scarves, this was the first one to which I felt a real personal affinity, and I know I'll be remembering the excitement of those first few days of our engagement each time I wear it. :smile1:

Thanks for looking!

Hi, welcome and glad u can join us. :smile1: I remember seeing ur scarf when it came out that season and thinking it was wonderful.

I didn't really like any of these when the pictures first came out but, wow, this one is amazing! It is perfect for you. Congrats on a great find! :smile1:

Love, love, love!!! This is the colorway I thought I would get before I found and unexpectedly fell in love with the black. I am sure I will have to get this one as well, the colors are so amazing and I love busy and colorful designs like this. :ps:

Thank you PoliticalGal! I have to say that your gorgeous posts have been a HUGE inspiration to me! You have one of the most fabulous Hermes silk and C/S shawl collections on the planet! We share a passion for many of the same colors! I often take mental notes on your purchases so that I can get my sweet SA to track them down for me!

I'm wearing my new silk scarf!

angelicskater16, This is such a great scarf for sports enthusiasts! Given your moniker, I will bet that you were drawn to this due to the fabulous design and the ice skater featured on it! I so wish I could be sporty and have a connection with this one. I also LOVE the designer! Very young and so precise in amazing details! A true contemporary artist with a huge career ahead at Hermes! (I have this past season's Lab scarf by this artist, but missed out on the Umbrella one.) You picked a winner with great colors!! I especially love the intricate border and how you have tied this! You look fantastic!!! Thank you for posting and enjoy this happy, fun silk!

I've shown this on other threads , so at risk of repeating myself ....introducing my first serious mousseline [ pochette doesn't count ] Eperons d'Or Stole in Lilac, rouge H , grey and pink .
I wasn't prepared to like it so well , and only pressed the button as I could return it . I may be called Frou Frou but that came from student days when I was more frilly . Now all froufrouness has been censored out of my wardrobe . I can see a reversion to type stealing into my look here ,but Spring is in the air and I refuse to stay in one place!

I just have to stop, pause, and say WOW! Absolutely gorgeous, frou frou!

Oh, here is my contribution (not theme related, so sorry). Shocker of all shockers, it is not a bright scarf! Bold, yes. Bright, no. (except for my skirt in capucine! :D)
I received my collaboration scarf in the mail last Friday. May I present to you "Cheval Surprise" (Hermes and Comme Des Garcons). This is as edgy as I get.:supacool:

Your tribute is so beautiful, Ladybaga, one of (if not the) sunniest of all scarf-wearing women here. :sunshine: And this scarf! Oh la la. It has made a complete convert of me. As an artist . . . If I ever show of a Cheval Surprise (LE or regular), you will be the reason.

Les Amoureux! One of the prettiest scarves in the H archives, and in a glorious neutral color. Welcome, PangurBan. You've offered us a treasure!

How could I forget to thank sweet Maedi, MaggyH, etoile, PoliticalGal, eagle.........
A huge HUG and thank you for your enabling along my scarf adventures. Traveling alone would be such a bore, so thank you all for your companionship AND enabling!:hugs:

LB, Your pics never fail to make me smile...when I see your bright smile!!! Great b/w shot!!! Very on trend with the b/w and spot of color!!!! Lovely and so inspirational!!!!

Well, this is not the best modeling pic of the lovely & colorful pique GM but I snapped a qwik pic as I was super late heading out the door this morning.... trying to brighten up my winter blues...this weather is the pits

Gorgeous Pique, Israeli_Flava. And to think, recently you were new to cashmere GMs!

I'm wearing my new silk scarf!

This is a fantastic scarf, angelicskater. The fold shows off the geometrical elements perfectly. I think this would be a great "power scarf" for work.

The mousseline train has arrived! And it comes with splendor, frou frou. One of the things I love is how it plays off your story of your name . . . those ribbon-like elements in the design, plus the lightness of the scarf. And THEN there are these colors. Gasp! The Rouge H. The lilac. The gray! Even the pink is ON. This, your Rouge H Trim, and that lipstick . . . . you would make my head spin on the streets.

And thank you, dear—I am so fortunate H has created these ways of connecting. :winkiss:
