If it weren't for her mod pic of this CSGM, I would never have wanted it. PdM was never up my alley. Too "ornate" in a sense..for me. And then the fact that she told me her store had one left... Hello ladies!

I've been a lurker for a while, but I've only recently plucked up the nerve to join you all and post. Please forgive me for this post being in last week's Valentines theme - my scarf hadn't arrived yet for me to participate. I've got my (new to me) Les Amoureux de Paris gavroche on today. I'm new to the H scarf world, but as soon as I found out about this design, I went looking for it since Paris was where DH proposed (on the Eiffel Tower, no less!). Though I've seen many beautiful scarves, this was the first one to which I felt a real personal affinity, and I know I'll be remembering the excitement of those first few days of our engagement each time I wear it.

angelicskater16, This is such a great scarf for sports enthusiasts! Given your moniker, I will bet that you were drawn to this due to the fabulous design and the ice skater featured on it! I so wish I could be sporty and have a connection with this one. I also LOVE the designer! Very young and so precise in amazing details! A true contemporary artist with a huge career ahead at Hermes! (I have this past season's Lab scarf by this artist, but missed out on the Umbrella one.) You picked a winner with great colors!! I especially love the intricate border and how you have tied this! I am not sure . . . . what u are asking? I am wearing Astrologie in cash/silk GM in the classic black/gold/white cw. It came out in 2005. I would have gotten all of the cws but none of the others worked for me. DiamondS has a different cw than me. I think she posted hers in the GM thread in Reference.

Holy Camole seton--well get that on my list!! I have never seen a GM in Astrologie; can I have yours please? This is just superb!! Perfection. Wow!

Silkie Friends, my girl Chevre had her first babies last night in the middle of a freezing storm. My son saw the black dots on the ground way out in the field, and we went screaming and running to save the babies. I grabbed my grand-sons and he literally picked Mama Chevre up and we scuttled back to the garage. Pierina, Maedi often ask about my love, my animals so they are giving me an excuse to show you Chevre's baby boys: Kelly and Birkin. Pardon the mess of the background but look how sweet the wolves were---Tovah, the female wolf licked and cleaned one of the babies while Mama goat did the same with brother. What inspires me: Life!

Oh, here is my contribution (not theme related, so sorry). Shocker of all shockers, it is not a bright scarf! Bold, yes. Bright, no. (except for my skirt in capucine! )
I received my collaboration scarf in the mail last Friday. May I present to you "Cheval Surprise" (Hermes and Comme Des Garcons). This is as edgy as I get.

OMG! How were you able to score at Comme de Garcons? I would love to have the Covertures et Tenues de Jour that says "Live Free With Strong Will!"
(I guess I shouldn't hold my breath. I was told it's not available in the U.S.)
