Well, this is not the best modeling pic of the lovely & colorful pique GM but I snapped a qwik pic as I was super late heading out the door this morning.... trying to brighten up my winter blues...this weather is the pits![]()
Bravo!! How beautiful! You wear it well, LadyB!
Agree with both of you!! Seton, your site is outstanding. I, too, am old(er) and have just now discovered tpf, you and MaiTai....so wish I had known sooner. I must bow to your expertise! Amazing!
Yes, yes, H should have an academy...offer classes in the history of the scarves, bags, company, etc. AND give us scarf-tying lessons! For me, it's the stories that make the scarves interesting. The story in C'est La Fete (sp?) is fascinating and adds so much to wearing it with the right attitude! The H website does give more background info that is very enjoyable to watch....as always with H, I want more more more![]()
Oh, here is my contribution (not theme related, so sorry). Shocker of all shockers, it is not a bright scarf! Bold, yes. Bright, no.
IF, this is the quilt, no?
It is gorgeous on you! And yes, it is beautifully tied and looks great with your coat! Congratulations!

YAY!!! You got your gorgeous GM Pique on today! You know how much I love these colors! You look amazing as always! Love the coat with it, too!
(Thanks for the love for my B/W CS.)
TY!
Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! You are modeling the CS! How are u liking the unusual size? You are making it look quite elegant.
Thank you, seton! The size is a bit of a challenge, however, I have found that by folding in the gingham to create a traditional 90cm and then folding on the bias, it allows just enough of the gingham to peek out from the end to give it that edge. I have never owned a b/w scarf, so I hope I can keep the tails clean! With my fondness for dark chocolate, I have to be careful to only drop morsels on the black painted spots (haha!) To be honest, I was so excited to finally have a Cheval Surprise, (the original came out before I started buying and wearing scarves) that the collaboration with CDG was just an added bonus for me. Btw, my DH found the dog in the design! I read somewhere where you posted the number of horses and the added dog in the design, so we spent time last night finding the images.
TY! Yes, I loooooove this one LB!!!! I'm still on pins and needles waiting for the turquoise CeL but this GM puts me in the best mood... so cheery, flowery and just sensational colors! P O W!
Hello ladies!
I've been a lurker for a while, but I've only recently plucked up the nerve to join you all and post. Please forgive me for this post being in last week's Valentines theme - my scarf hadn't arrived yet for me to participate.I've got my (new to me) Les Amoureux de Paris gavroche on today. I'm new to the H scarf world, but as soon as I found out about this design, I went looking for it since Paris was where DH proposed (on the Eiffel Tower, no less!). Though I've seen many beautiful scarves, this was the first one to which I felt a real personal affinity, and I know I'll be remembering the excitement of those first few days of our engagement each time I wear it.
Thanks for looking!

I received my collaboration scarf in the mail last Friday. May I present to you "Cheval Surprise" (Hermes and Comme Des Garcons). This is as edgy as I get.![]()
