Aw shucks, you are all being very kind. Like I could ever look as amazing as you guys always do! I need to thank you all back for the great stuff you all share - scarves, bags, shawls, tying techniques: the list goes on...

scaethoven, thank you for the fantastic how-to. Arrggg this has fueled my lust for a plisse!!! :sweatdrop::sweatdrop::sweatdrop:

Great pics everyone! MaiTai I love the pic of you with the Kelly. :faint: Doloresmia, wow that scarf looks so fantastic on you!!! Riley, I am loving your shawl and your pics are making me want to buy one as well.

But I am :banned:! hehehe for a while anyway...I'll just enjoy the pics!

scaethoven, thanks for the video! Love the plisse tying techniques. Can I ask what is the name of the round scarf ring you used? Thanks!

Hi bags to die for

The round scarf ring is a lizard belt shawl ring. They're a bit bigger than a regular scarf ring but a regular scarf ring or finger ring can be made to work too or, for the second and last ties the chaine d'ancre can be used too.

Yikes, now I should apologise for the terrible quality of the video, the lack of sound and the amateurness of it! I'm glad people have found it fun to share anyway; I was asked by a friend to share tying techniques and YouTube was the only way I could find to do it short of mailing her a CD. I swear I'd have tried to do a better job of it if I'd known it would have a bigger audience! Thanks to DH for pointing the camera!

SC, Thanks again from your clueless friend who now understands how to
tie a plisse. I can now stop annoying everyone with my whining.

MiaT & mrsDIY88-:heart:Thank you!
Rose:smile1:-A zillion thanks for posting that plisse video & kind words about DD!
MaiTai-Looking good as always!
Purse-o-holic-Great look especially with your glasses really reminds me of the russian lady Miraslova Duma!:supacool:
scaethoven-What a talented lady!The way you tie so quickly & no editing,WOW!:yahoo:

scaethoven, great video! Plissés are so versatile, aren't they?

MaiTai, Love the Damière!

After reading the thread about Voyage en Etoffes GM cashmere shawls, I thought I should post these pics of the regular silk carrés. I just love this design!

These are colorways 04 (Noir) and 11 (Sepia).
