I love reading this thread and looking at all the lovely models.
Scethoven, thank you for the great video. You've inspired me to work more with my plisses and got me thinking of that Etoffes one they have at my local store.

Parsley May, the Etouffes scarves look great. You've made me think about the Etouffes scarf again and with Scaethoven's video demonstrations I think I need to check out the Etouffes plisse. So much for my one scarf-per-season rule. Rules are made to be broken. I guess I can try to reinstate that rule again in the fall for the F/W 2010 scarves.

^^^Thanks andee. I consider that a compliment. I don't have as small of a face as hers, but I think I pull them off ok. Im not sure if they're the exact same frame as hers, but they're called SuperGenius by Dita Legends.
I really love my new Jersey. Its stretchy and sheer but not see through. The Brides de Gala design in Jersey is also TDF. Im getting it in the grey CW.

Purse-o-holic - that Jersey colourway is lovely. I would want the Brides de Gala too in the same colourway as this one looks great on you!

When I first felt it, it was the FIRST thing that came to mind. "this really seems prone to snags". I asked the SA and even she said, "well if I said no, I would be lying".
But I wouldn't say its as delicate as hoisery. You just have to be careful with your fingers, nail and cuticles. Its so worth it. It drapes SOOO nice.
ME TOO. I am also getting the BdG in the Grey. Its also REALLLY nice in the Brown/gold and Black/gold.

Just keep an eye on your scarf collection as your daughter gets older. I remember often "borrowing" clothing items from my Mom.
Oh my goodness, it looked more complicated than how you described! My apologies then for my naive question about how to tiw it like you did in the photo. I am going to get a Twilly as I so liked how it looks on you!
