rileygirl-I love pic#2,gotta try that one!!Unfortunately its not uncommon after a accident to start feeling pain(I worked in hospitals for 10 yrs another lifetime ago)I hope he gets through this ok!

your DD is so adorable! enjoy this age when she still allows you to dress her up!

You guys all make it such a joy to sit back with a cup of coffee & enjoy viewing all you pictures!I couldn' resist to add this one today. My DD has had this doll forever, she won't part with it.No matter how many new dolls & toys come our way. It's funny how she is like me that way,I still have some of my most precious childhood dolls & throughout the years had collected antique dolls but now have moved passionately on to H.Part of the reason I'm now here on the forum is because a friend saw my collection & said "You could be getting so much joy from actually wearing & using what you really love as opposed to just admiring them from behind a glass cabinet".I hate to say it but she is right.Well, here is DD with the blue lotus twilly & her beloved dolly has the seashells in orange.Correct me on the names of the twillies if I have it wrong. She brightens my day & I hope she can bring a little sunshine to you too.

MiaT Thank you... If I remember correctly, I bought the tweedie in 2006.

Rileygirl lovely!

RileyGirl, your playtime pics are fun. you should just street test all of them. see how well the knot holds... etc. Sometimes it looks great standing, but when you're out and about and need to sit and stand, some hold better during/after sitting down.

have fun! (and i think it's really awful sweet of your DH to take pics of you in your scarves)

Yesterday I was stuck home because my DH had the flu, now I have it which I love about him. He is so giving.... Thank goodness for tPF or I would be crawling out of my skin!

BlueGenes here is my orange turtle scarf from the SS09 line. I bought it to give to my DSD one day (she is obsessed with turtles like most 11 year olds). I find this one harder to wear because the scales on the pattern. Not crazy re: wearing scales personally. I don't know, what do you all think? Any ideas on how to tie so the scales don't looks so scaley? or do you think this is one that i should frame for her as i love the way it looks unfolded?

Scales? What scales? All I saw was HOTNESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :faint:

Diva999 - what a sweet picture! Adorable tying the Twilly on her doll!

Xiaoxiao - you look fabulous even in your pajamas! Now that is something!

RileyGirl - hope you DH feels better soon. How sweet of him to still take pictures of you in your shawls.

Purse-o-holic - The TB in Aubergine is such a lovely colourway!

DoloresMia - The turtles colourway looks great on you! I don't notice is as scales so much. Think of it this way - it's a reptile, and most of us like to see the scales on a croc Kelly or Birkin! :graucho:

Rose - thank you for the news on the Tweedie. Hum 2006? I guess I won't find it on the store shelves now. That's okay, someday they will make something similar, as it's so beautiful!

^^ MiaT... that's just when I bought it.... it may well be that it is something they have available regularly... worth checking. I got mine from the rtw floor at Madison Avenue.

doloresmia, vra vra vroooom ~ who would even see the scales (I don't mind the scales anyway, I think they are actually lovely)

Rileygirl, thanks for sharing so many playtime pics. Love the horn ring idea, so pretty!

Purse-o-holic, the TB looks fab on you. The colors are unbelievable and you do wear them incredibly well!

Rose, thank you for posting the video link. Scaethoven does know her knots, amazing! The Dancing Pearls look lovely as a Plissé.
