Which resale site pays the most?

I have noticed that items sit longer on AFF but i think its because they space out their discount campaigns. As a seller I feel its my responsibility to be aggressive with pricing and communication if I want my item to sell fast in this economy. Been communicating with AFF the last 3 months and their communication and payment has been prompt (within the guidelines of their contract). I have not purchased from them before.

I’m currently trying to sell an LV bag.

I just had a bag experience with Rebag so they are off the table for me.

Fashionophile’s quote was kind of low (might still take them up on it and take the hit) and it also took forever for them to send me a quote. They used to be pretty quick with turnaround.

I don’t want to do consignment and I’m thinking of giving Yoogi’s Closet a try.

I submitted a pair of VCA earrings this month and fashionphile gave me a buyout quote in under 48hrs. It looks like they are offering around 70% of the anticipated selling price.

The real-real consignment fee is 30% for larger ticket items but they take a higher % consignment fee for low priced items.

Rebag takes 25% commission fee. Buyout offers vary. For the earrings I received a low quote, however a few months ago I received a nice buy out quote on another item I submitted to them and I believe it was because the item was hot commodity.

I am not sure how Yoogis Closet comes up with their buy out price, but it was less than what Fashionphile offered.

On Couture USA, they offer commission around 70 to 75% of the selling price. It is only 50% for items less than $300.

I thought it would be ebay, but when I tried selling one of my bags on there, the buyer tried to say that their items didn't arrive and I almost didn't get paid by ebay, so I know its normal knowledge to not sell there xD Wish i found this thread before

I know resale value is down in general. But in your experience, which sites have the highest offers and relatively fast payouts? I’m kind of over most of my Chanel bags and would rather have money for trips. I think I’ll just keep my black classic flap and my grey 2.55. I sold one LV bag to therealreal in 2021 and made a profit. But 2021 resale market seems like a completely different animal compared to now. I’m not expecting that to be the case this time around.

Spring 2024 update: I requested a quote - on a 2020 Cruise Collection denim flap (small) in Excellent condition with a full set- from Fashionphile, MyGemma, Redeluxe and Lux Dujour and here’s what I got:

MyGemma: 2,800
Fashionphile: 2,600
Redeluxe: 2,000
LDJ: we’re not accepting new inventiey

Additionally, a rep from MG called me same day and agreed to honor the quote for more than a week.

Where are you currently getting the highest offers? I have a baby on the way and want to sell a few things that I haven’t used in years. It’s hard to part with holy grail Hermes, but it’s a waste when it’s been sitting in a closet for 10+ years.

Has anyone used Authulux? They were recommended on a Reddit thread, but I haven’t had any experience with them. I’ve just reached out to AFF, FP, CoutureUSA, and Luxe Du Jour. Am I missing anywhere else? I’m looking for a fair price and fast payment.

Is there anywhere other than TRR for unbranded jewelry?

I submitted my Speedy B25 in DE (looks new -only used it twice since purchasing it in 2017).
Here are the quotes I received:

Fashionphile $800
Rebag $855 (Not going to chance it after reading about some of their tactics)
Luxe Du Jour $850 (since I would have to pay to ship/insure it, it doesn't make sense to sell to them due to not really a difference between them and Fashionphile after I were to pay for shipping/insurance)
Yoogi's Closet- $650-715 direct purchase (I don't understand why it showed a range but too low to bother)
myGemma- $800
Couture USA- $650
Bag Borrow or Steal- Still haven't heard from them after 4 days

at these prices, doesn't hurt to use it then resell after market comes back or sell on craigslist.
