Just wanted to report back on some recent experiences with consignment places in response to this thread.
By far my best experiences lately have been with Luxe du Jour. They quoted me the best buyout prices, I sent them the items and had my money via Paypal within a week of them receiving the item.
With that said, some observations on a couple others:
Ann's Fabulous Finds - I think I am done with them. They take absolutely forever to sell things, her pricing lately has been weird, and I've recently had to start bugging them to send me my payout within the timeframe laid out in their consignment agreement. I think Ann's used to be good but is going downhill.
Couture USA: I might use them again because they did sell my H bag very quickly, but communication was really abysmal.
Fashionphile, Rebag, and Yoogi's: Quotes from all 3 have been so consistently low that I am not even going to bother trying for the near future.
TRR: Despite being a hot mess in some regards, I have had good luck sending smaller value items to them. I would never trust them with big ticket things but I sent them things that other consigners don't accept like an MCM tote, Akris Punto clothes, nonbranded fine jewelry, etc. And they sold them promptly and I got my money in a reasonably fast timeframe.
Thank you for your recommendation, regarding luxedujour, I found details on their site https://luxedujour.ca/home/consign-sell-details, it looks like seller have to pay for their items ship to and ship back?

Thank you, looks like a good option if someone lives near it's store to do a direct drop off otherwise the shipping plus insurance on high value item would cost too much to ship.
It all depends on how much they offer you vs other places. I shipped my bags to them and still made far more than I would have if I had chosen one of the other places that covers shipping but offered lower payouts.

Yes I agree that something has been awfully and terribly off with Ann's Fabulous Finds lately and you guys need to be careful before we start hearing horror stories. She is taking way too long to pay people nowadays even for items that are already sold. I don't know if the business is having financial trouble or perhaps on the verge of change of ownership or something but be very careful guys lest you ship a bag and get stuck in between. A friend sent me some of her associates emails and the tone in those emails were teethering on unprofessional. AFF at least 2 years ago was like the best but I've heard enough people complain about her sitting on people's money with no explanation and she won't ship your items back cos it's sold.

Why would she ship your items back if they are sold?

She is not being straightforward. She just keeps postponing my friend's payment date so obviously if the item has been sold , which I'm sure they got paid for, why is the consignor not getting paid even though AFF has been paid? Whole thing calls to be cautious

That makes sense, I hope she gets her payment soon. I have never sold to them but I am watching some items that have been on the site for awhile. I am not sure if it’s the item or the price but I feel bad for the consigners if the items are not selling…

I've always had such great experiences with Ann's over the years, as both a buyer and seller. And, their correspondance has always been so prompt and courteous. I last consigned with them a year ago. I'm trying to imagine what's happening regarding your friend's situation. I admit, I've never closely watched the time lapsed between an item being sold and receiving a payment, but it never seemed excessive. Could you come back and give us an update when this is resolved for your friend?

I just submitted my LV mini montsouris to Yoogi’s, Fashionphile, and Coutureusa.

The buyout quotes are :
Yoogis-265-285
Fashiophile-425
Coutureusa-440

Fashionphile took 7 days, and the other two within one day for quotes.
I will be selling to Coutureusa, even though I have to pay for shipping it. Fashionphile sounds too disorganized these days, which is a bummer since I have only ever sold my items to them.

Thanks to @LVlvoe_bug for recommending coutureusa<3

I have bought and sold with Anns Fabulous Finds and found them to be the most responsive, her descriptions of the items are extremely thorough and state every potential flaw as opposed to TRR which does not accurately describe wear and tear. I have been upset after Ive received items from TRR but never had a single issue with AFF. I have bought and sold with Ann's, TRR and Fashionphile. Her payments to consignors are twice a month as stated in her consignment agreement. They allow returns so a consignor does have to wait out the return period. It isn't quick but I completely trust them.
