I just submitted my LV mini montsouris to Yoogi’s, Fashionphile, and Coutureusa.

The buyout quotes are :
Yoogis-265-285
Fashiophile-425
Coutureusa-440

Fashionphile took 7 days, and the other two within one day for quotes.
I will be selling to Coutureusa, even though I have to pay for shipping it. Fashionphile sounds too disorganized these days, which is a bummer since I have only ever sold my items to them.

Thanks to @LVlvoe_bug for recommending coutureusa:heart:
was it mini or MM? I saw some people posted as mini actully was MM

That makes sense, I hope she gets her payment soon. I have never sold to them but I am watching some items that have been on the site for awhile. I am not sure if it’s the item or the price but I feel bad for the consigners if the items are not selling…
Perhaps people don't know it, but the prices are usually negotiable. If you like something and the price isn't moving you can ask AFF to ask the consigner if they'd consider a lower price. I haven't dealt with AFF in about 2 years though, her business model has changed and the service that used to be A+ isn't great anymore. And her pricing is ridiculous.

Thank you, I had no idea that you could negotiate prices! I find the prices are getting to be out of hand compared to other reseller sites and thus items sit unsold. Still watching these same items unsold after a few months…

This is true. I kept sending emails to request a price reduction on one of my items there and each time they said that they were in price negotiations with a buyer with my lowest price in mind. I had sent an email asking to reduce to xxx with a potential to go down to yyy if it didn't sell at that price. Finally, they did reduce the price on the website but it was yyy vs xxx. It didn't bother me, but the communication was not 100%. On the other hand, I do still think they are the most trustworthy place to purchase from. In order to list my fine jewelry item, she now requires all of the original paperwork including purchase receipt in my name (though I do not think that she includes the receipts with purchase, for privacy, and my item does not list that it comes with the receipt).

I had never sold or bought from them, seems prices are very high
I think they suggest high prices to make consignors happy, but it is up to the consigner to know the market rate in my opinion. I always request that they list my item for a lower price and they always oblige. That ability to keep control of my items is something that other large consignment sites do not offer. Smaller ones do, of course, but I have had issues with other sites losing my items or not paying me.

I’ve been watching a few items that have not budged in price in months except during a sale and they were not purchased. I find the prices for the items high which is why I hesitate to purchase. I didn’t know you could negotiate for a lower price. if I were a consignor I’d want my item to sell not sit there like that…

I am not sure, because I am selling my items there, not buying, but I think it is good for us to know here that 1) price quoted for consignment is probably too high 2) ask them to lower your price to the appropriate market rate and they will do so to whatever price you want 3) if you want to purchase an item, send them an email and ask if it is negotiable/what the best price is.
I have a fine jewelry item that is priced on their site lower than any other authentic one for sale on eBay etc, but they wanted to list it for only about $500 under retail (over $31k retail), which makes no sense!

Just wanted to report back on some recent experiences with consignment places in response to this thread.
By far my best experiences lately have been with Luxe du Jour. They quoted me the best buyout prices, I sent them the items and had my money via Paypal within a week of them receiving the item.
With that said, some observations on a couple others:
Ann's Fabulous Finds - I think I am done with them. They take absolutely forever to sell things, her pricing lately has been weird, and I've recently had to start bugging them to send me my payout within the timeframe laid out in their consignment agreement. I think Ann's used to be good but is going downhill.
Couture USA: I might use them again because they did sell my H bag very quickly, but communication was really abysmal.
Fashionphile, Rebag, and Yoogi's: Quotes from all 3 have been so consistently low that I am not even going to bother trying for the near future.
TRR: Despite being a hot mess in some regards, I have had good luck sending smaller value items to them. I would never trust them with big ticket things but I sent them things that other consigners don't accept like an MCM tote, Akris Punto clothes, nonbranded fine jewelry, etc. And they sold them promptly and I got my money in a reasonably fast timeframe.
I too just had an excellent experience consigning with Luxe du Jour. They sold my bag in less than one month and I received 83% in Paypal within days. Very friendly too. Just a bit annoying that shipping and insurance is on us but I shipped to their CA office via USPS no issues.

Just an update on AFF - they have now gotten rid of the consigner dashboard they used to have on their website, which allowed you to check on the status of the items you consigned with them. When I emailed to ask what was going on with that, they said their software no longer supported it and I would either need to search for my items on their site to see if they had sold or email them periodically. This does not seem a great sign to me about the health of the business and it's certainly not convenient. I'm thinking of asking for my consignment items back and sending them elsewhere.

Personally I would request my items back. I recently noticed rebag is no longer even accepting any photo submissions for quotes. Yogis buyouts are even lower than a month ago and fashionphile is beyond low. I think these companies are really really pulling back on buying because sales are so low. I’d get your items back to you ASAP.

This is Not a good sign..only means that your item could be sold and they can trade with the money for as long as they want without paying you till they are ready to. Knock on wood but what if they go bankrupt?
