I can't log in (8/22) - is anyone else having an issue? The site says it can't find my account, but when I ask for a password reset it says I already have an account. I tried on multiple devices with no luck. Apparently I have a coupon in my account, but have no way to use it.
 
Anyone sell with Rebag? I tried for the first time and am incredibly pissed. I got an automatic quote through their "robot", accepted the quote, and shipped the item. Weeks later, they finally received and evaluated it and are not accepting it and gave me an incredibly vague "reason": Not within our internal guidelines

My item (Dior Visor) was brand new with tags, box, dust bag, etc.
I'm pissed I went through all this and am worried they're going to pull some funny business and send back my item incomplete or damaged. I sent in the EXACT item I got an approved quote for in BRAND NEW condition and they still declined it?!

This exact thing just happened to me. The same vague reason: “not within our internal guidelines”, it came with all of the packaging and original receipt, but I think their quote was honestly really high and they regretted it. They already have the exact same item on their site that they are trying to sell unsuccessfully for thousands above retail price. It is annoying because they had my item for almost 3 weeks before they came to this decision and finally updated me. Maybe they were waiting to see if they could sell the item they already had in stock first?
How long did it take them to ship your item back to you? Did it come back in the original condition with all of the tags and accessories?
It was a big waste of time overall.

Exact same thing happened to me with a Gucci bag. I was so annoyed. They did send it back quickly. I then just sent to the real real, got more for it then I would have gotten from Rebag (but it is consigment so you don't get until the bag sells). Luckily the bag sold the first day on TRR site.
I used to like Rebag but now I see that the bags are much more expensive than they used to be and the quotes are lower than I get most other places. I've stopped buying and selling with them.

Thanks for the feedback. I think I got greedy because their quote was ridiculously high. I have always had a good experience sending items to TRR also, though they do take a long time to list them (last time it was over 2 months).
 
I’m super annoyed with Rebag at the moment because I just got a bag from them shipped by Media Mail! What the heck Rebag? I thought they were supposed to be professionals; and the Postal worker lectured my husband about it using the words “federal crime” until of course we pointed out that we were only collecting the item and had no way of knowing it would be sent media mail.
 
Did you have to go to the post office to pick up the package from Rebag?

Yes, we have to pick up all our packages as we are in a rural area; and when the postal worker handed it over he noticed that it was obviously from Rebag and started lecturing my husband. I think we were lucky we were there at closing and he wanted to finish the day instead of starting paperwork on the item.

I just had the same issue that others have had with Rebag and their quotes. They quoted me a high number for a bag which I thought was in excellent condition. I sent it to them and they sent me a new quote for less than what they had originally quoted. It makes me hesitant to consign with them again as it feels like a bait and switch. I read the descriptions and thought my assessment was fair but apparently they disagreed. Good for a buyer but not great for a consigner. I agree that it’s a waste of time. I sent a quote to Yoogi’s to see what they would give me.

It really does not matter even if you had detailed pictures and accurate descriptions prior their quotes, there is possibility (they done several times to me) they still would lower the quotes regardless after they received the item(s).

I don't know if these kind of business practice can last long, the luxury consignment business is all about credibility. I used to send accessoreies - duster, box, tag, shopping bag etc to them with my items, now I don't, I'm not going to lose more money by given them these accessories then they lower their quotes again after received my items.
 
Agree…they are shady and it does not enhance their credibility at all.

They were quite nonchalant about sending me a bag via Media Mail as well; the person who responded to me said they never heard of media mail before and I got my bag didn’t I? The basic attitude was that it shouldn’t be a problem for me or them.

So much for professionalism and reliability.

I had a bunch of quotes standing by from them too but I am glad I never sent anything in. Also a couple of the quotes took several weeks and asked me for so much additional info I might as well just write a listing and sell it myself; thanks but no thanks Clair!

I’m so glad I found this thread. I’m brand new to Rebag and have only sold to Fashionphile in the past. I was pleasantly surprised when some of my quotes were pretty good! Almost, too good to be true! Now after seeing this I think I’ll go ahead and decline the offers. I’ve got no time to go back and forth w/ would seems to be a shady business.

The most annoying thing was some of these items I shipped to them were after they had raised their initial quotes (and I had summited detail pictures and very detailed the description), after they received my items, they lowered the quotes much lower even 10% or more lower than their initial quotes, as if they were intentionally trick me.

That’s terrible! Did you find another platform to sell your bags?
