I generally to out to Annes, Fashionphile, TRR, Rebag for quotes. Rebag has often been the lowest, followed closely by FP.
I’ve yet to check out TRR? Any tips?

Find a rep that you work well with. I have no idea how to do that, as mine just kept emailing and calling and texting me once I went on the site....honestly she was overly persistent. Once I got to the selling point, it was a great experience and went super fast. Had quote based on photos, I sent bag, within 2 days they honored quote and sent me money via get paid now option. Went to do the same for the second bag, she went out on Maternity leave. I had quote, sent bag, now it's suddenly taking 3 weeks to slog through the process via the new rep.I’ve yet to check out TRR? Thanks...it's making me nervous that they're taking their time....Ok, sounds good. I hope they pick up the pace for your current sale. Thank you! I’ll be checking them out.

A wild guess, 1. many people shop on their site may use credit which they had sold their items for; 2. Rebag sent out coupon discounts so that would fact in I believe 3. more competition on ebay than on their own site. You would think that an item they have listed on their site would be LESS than the same item listed in their ebay store.
No.
It's A LOT more on the website compared to the ebay price (with BIN too).
Confused about that.
They offer a lot of incentives on their site. I think at the present time I have $100 in credit, plus $50 in points or something plus an anniversary discount. So they raise their prices there to offset all my incentives. You would think that an item they have listed on their site would be LESS than the same item listed in their ebay store.

This thread was eye opening. I’ve purchased 3 bags from Rebag in the past year or so, very happy with each bag. Not happy with the occasional texts like others mentioned, so creepy.
i pulled out a Rodeo and BV bag yesterday i intended to get some quotes for (FP, Yoogis, etc), and when looking on Rebag, found a bag i was interested in, clicked the Claire quote for trade in just for kicks, and decided to accept the trade offers on each item….i had a 15% off coupon, so it was worth it in order to get this bag. I mailed them today. After reading about all of the item rejections or changing/lowering of quotes, now i am worried. If they reject these items or attempt to lower the quotes, i won’t buy or sell with them again.
my question to those whose items were either rejected or quotes lowered after the items were sent…..how does it work with getting your items back? I will not accept lower quotes, and i definitely do not think i should have to pay return shipping costs in that case…do they charge to ship your items back?
I sent in some bags for a straight trade about 6 months to a year ago. It was not a good experience. They ended up reducing the quote to almost half of what it originally was and then sent an invoice for the difference, about $800. I rejected it and asked them to send my stuff back. That's when things got interesting and annoying. They bumped up their quote. I still said no. They bumped it up again. I said no again. Finally they had bumped it up to almost the price of the bag I had bought using the trade-in money. I think I still would have owed them maybe $150 or so. At that point I was fed up with the process. It had been two days since I had initially said no. I think they sent me one other offer before they too gave up and shipped my stuff back. What a waste of time and shipping funds (on their part).^^^ This is the exact reason I just read through this thread. The price to trade is so much more than the selling price and it seems too good to be true. What happens if they determine they don't want your bag or it's worth less than they initially gave you credit for on the trade? Do they receive your item before completing the trade? I am inclined to accept a lower offer from another place if they are going to play these ridiculous games.
They wound up honoring the quoted prices so it went smoothly. And the BV bag i traded for, was just gorgeous and exactly as described. I was really worried tho, after reading this thread, until the process was complete. And after reading @samfalstaff ’s account just above this post i am writing, good grief what an awful experience^^^ This is the exact reason I just read through this thread. Do you have a physical store near to you that you could call or visit? Perhaps an in-person visit or call to a local store could generate more one-on-one help. Here's my story with Rebag...Trying to get some help here:
About a month and half ago, I sent in three packages to Rebag, two of them arrived fine, I received item got checked-in emails the day they arrived. The frustrating story started with the third item. I got an email from Rebag the next day, with an empty box picture attached, they said the box arrived empty, like how come? I responded to that email then Rebag vanished on me, stopped replying to emails no matter how many times I reached out. On April 28th, I finally got a live rep who responded, then I received an email with a subject title "Damaged UPS Investigation Opened". They said the investigation would take 7 business days, then I reached out on the 7th, they said they will definitely have an answer for me in 10 business days, then 15... then a month passed by...
The funny thing is, last week, I got in touch with the UPS agent (Rebag actually gave me his number) who is investigating this case and he told me he was the one opening this case, not Rebag, he couldn't even get in touch with someone from Rebag so he turned to me for help. Correct... he's been calling the 844 number and probably a rep gave him my number too. This whole thing is just crazy because neither him or me can actually get a direct contact from the so-called claims team. I recently got a live rep who was kind enough to forward all the agents' and my messages to the "claims team" but she couldn't seem to get an answer from them either. I don't know what's going on with Rebag. Obviously the item couldn't be found on the UPS side, and Rebag is not even trying to solve this case.
I filed a claim with BBB already and there's not much left for me to do. Any suggestions? It's a really expensive item:/
