I finally scored the CH Hyde Park Messenger in the Olive shade at the outlet. I went yesterday and they already had 50% off for Black Friday. It came up to $214 but I had the Outlet Green Card for $50 off a purchase over $250 so I also got a pewter leather wristlet to bump it up to $250, so in the end I got both items for $200!:yahoo:

I was also going back and forth between the Woodbury Tan and the Aubergine too because they are also gorgeous colours but settled on the olive because I don't have any bags in that colour. The leather is so buttery and very well made. The braided handle is substantial and comfortable to hold so I will be wearing the bag as both messenger and hand-held. I give a big thumbs up for this bag.:tup:

Loving all these great bags on this thread, and thought I'd share my newest purchase - I guess technically it's not a messenger, but it is a crossbody!

I've got a load of crossbody bags, and they're all workhorses, so I don't usually spend that much on them. This one though was proper bargain basement stuff - 75 bucks! :yahoo:

For all it was cheap, it's got some really good design features, making it pretty practical for daily work use. And it's not too sore on the eyes (I don't think anyways...) It was well packaged and delivery was speedy from US, so no complaints there either. I've shown a modelling pic for size etc.

Was browsing the clearance sale at Saks today and came across the Cole Haan Camden Alexis crossbody bag in Chestnut. It's gorgeous and I was drawn to it right away. It was marked down and an additional 30% off so I bought it for $157.80!!!! I have been looking for a great crossbody/messenger bag for awhile now so I am thrilled. I will post pics tonight when I get home. Thanks to this thread for even putting the Alexis on my radar.
