Just curious to see what Louis Vuitton bags you have purchased and sold and why.

I have purchased and sold:
Beverly GM monogram: this bag was so, so heavy and the buckle was a hassle to open and close.

Stresa GM monogram: The buckle was a hassle to open and close.

Galliera PM monogram: I think I outgrew the style and moved towards larger bags. The vachetta around the top of the bag is also very delicate and showed major discoloration and wear.

Galliera PM damier azur: same as the galliera monogram

Neverfull MM in monogram twice: this was my very first LV. I carried it for years and it showed major wear in the canvas and vachetta. It still sold for $400 on eBay. I really regretted selling the bag and repurchased a new one. I used it twice in a year. I wanted something more secure. Everytime I hit the brakes in my car, it would tip over and everything came out! I finally sold it again.

What I got instead:

Palermo GM monogram: this has been a great neverfull replacement and I love the security of the zipper. This was preloved.

Irene limited edition in monogram: this bag is so lux and chic. I love the tassels and gold iridescent drawstring. So easy to dress up! The bag has 2 sections separated by a secured zipper section in the middle. I can't say how much I love this bag.

Speedy 30 bandoliere in damier azur tahitienne: I had never been interested in the speedy before this print. Now I want all of the prints! I thought having the shoulder strap would be so much easier, but I enjoy carrying the bag in the crook of my arm. I would absolutely consider buying a preloved older style without the shoulder strap. What started out as just the new print ones design made me completely love this bag I once overlooked.

I have sold all of my bags on eBay and received very close to my asking prices. No major losses on any of my sales.

I also own the Eva in monogram and would never consider selling it! It's the best size and so comfortable.

I own the Stresa GM in damier azur and would never consider selling this even though I sold the monogram print. The print just works better with the style and the buckle is still a pain, but I love it!

I have my eye on the vernis alma (still considering color). The speedy made me realize that I shouldn't fear bags without a shoulder strap.

Please share bags you have sold or gotten rid of and why.

Wow, I’m so glad to see that you love the Irene. I am really looking to get it but I have two questions. Do you find it too heavy? And because they handle drops are only 6 inches, how easy is it to carry on your shoulder? I tend to wear my bags that way and don’t find that I like to have them on my forearm

Where do I start:
1. Had the Neverfull MM in DE: sold it then repurchased it but I still sell the Pochette because I found it useless.
2. Favorite MM in DE: sold it, repurchased it, then sold it again. The magnetic closure drove me crazy because I was afraid my stuff would fall out but it’s such a pretty bag.
3. Speedy B30 in DE MIF! It was the older canvas which was nice and thick but I hated the treated leather strap. I now have a Speedy B25 in DE with the newer matte leather and love it!
4. Clemence Wallet in DE: found it too heavy.
5. Multicartes wallet: I don’t like folding my bills or that the dividers didn’t go all the way down so change would t stay put.
6. Victorine Wallet: sold it because it was so hard to put the cards in the slots. I bought a preloved one that the slots had loosened up and now love it!
7. Totally PM in DE: was just too small for me.
8. Mini PA in DE: sold it thinking it was too small then missed it so much I repurchased one and will never let it go again!
9. Siena MM: I didn’t like the wonky zipper.
10. Siena PM: the bottom sides started caving in and made it looked deformed.
11. Key Cles in mono: too small and I found a knock off on Amazon that is a little bigger and easier to use.
12. 6 ring key holder in DE: I found this thing useless. My key fob just hung out the bottom which defeated the purpose.
13. Papillon 30 and mini Papillon in DE: my biggest regret letting go! I loved this bag and it’s unique shape and wish I would have kept it.

As you can tell I’m very picky and indecisive! But maybe someone else can learn from my mistakes! :-)

Artsy ! I ordered it and the strap/ handle hurt my shoulder so much .. I also found it heavy Im sure that’s why it hurt my shoulder so much Another one was the trevi DE another bag I found heavy and dressy for the look I hated it ..those are my top two picks

I bought a petit noe in red epi leather years ago and barely used it 3x although it doesn't look like LV carry this exact model anymore I just don't see myself reaching for it at all

I recently sold my tri color Epi Noe GM. I love how it looks but hadn’t carried it in months and didn’t really miss it. I did have a smudge of regret when I packed it up to be shipped but I know it wasn’t going to get any attention from me in the near future.

1. Round Coin Purse: Bought it and never used it because I didn’t see the point of having such a pricey holder for dirty coins. So, I finally sold it after a year of sitting in my drawer.
2. Agenda PM: Too small for my daily needs and I have big handwriting.
3. Classic Speedy 25 DE: At the time the bag was small for me and I didn’t enjoy carrying top handle bags. I regret selling it and want to repurchase it. I bought the Speedy B 30 DE and it’s way too big for my frame and doesn’t sit nicely on my body.

I’m regretting the toiletry 26 pouch. I have had it for over a year now and have not carried it or used it once. Thinking about selling but not sure how much I can get or who to sell it through.
I have a lot of regrets for purchases and I end up selling them all generally! Lol You most likely will never get back what you paid, but I have found I like Mercari the best for selling because they authenticate luxury items. So I think a lot of people feel more confident buying luxury items through that site. Or at least I do as far as buying and selling. Good luck!

Thanks for the info. I’ll have to look them up and do a little research.

I love my new monogram Graceful but I find myself leaving it on the shelf and using other bags. I think it's the big, wide vachetta strap that worries me- I'm afraid it will get damaged. Maybe I should have chosen DE even though I don't like it nearly as much.
