Surprisingly, I get the most compliments on a canvas and patent Tory Burch tote that I use in summer. I've gotten a few compliments on my saffron MJ Stam, but mostly about the color..not the actual bag.

I get the most compliments on my chloe audra in vermillon. What's funny, is that the compliments are usually from women that are dressed conservatively and are carrying black bags.

It seems the bags that get the most compliments are the brightly colored bag. I think the classic bags, in more conservative colors, are recognized by those of us with a keener, more educated, sense of designers.
