My vintage tan MK large tote with goldtone hardware and a front pocket. A couple of years ago even strangers commented on my BCBG signature medium hobo in cream. Other bags from BCBG did not even come close to grabbing that much attention! I get side glances when I have my MBMJ bag and got a discussion about it with a MAC sales person. She wanted to know where I got it. And for some reason, when I use my Coach bags, I feel people ignore me :thinkin:

Well...I just bought this bag. Muratori, at a boutique and everyone has commented in the past two days....I feel so special:yahoo:...they ask to "pet" the petals...so funny! They all say where did you get it. I am reluctant at first but I know its a limited edition, so how many could there be...right?

Just love it...here it is...albeit bad pics from an iphone:D

I do love it though and feel special carrying it...understated yet still unique and the leather is to die for! sorry forthe bad pics, but wanted you to see the detailing..each petal hand sewn and different...crazy!

I get more compliments on my "cheaper" bags than I do when I carry my LV, Gucci. As someone else said, my Coach bags go ignored, while a purse I got from HSN by Iman is noticed everywhere I go, and especially by men. My Sharif Bags (also bought from HSN) get so many compliments. My sister even snatched one of my Sharif bags and carries it on a daily basis because she gets so many compliments on it. I have a Charm and Luck satchel that attracts a lot of attention, also.

I wonder if people ignore my expensive designer bags because they see them everywhere? Or do they think the bag(s) are fake? I'm rethinking my decision to buy another LV speedy.

My Vera Bradley Bali Gold Morgan! I use it a lot in the summer, people love how bright and cheery it is.

My Coach bags don't really get noticed because the majority of people around here only recognize signature/logo'd stuff.

I seriously get the most compliments on "The Sak" beige knit bag I have, they tell me how cute it is all the time and ask where they can buy one...Wallet? My Coach Gunmetal Sig Stripe Zip

I think its a breath of fresh air to see something different out there...I personally like to have something different and veer towards the newer brands then all the ones that have knockoffs and are seen EVERYWHERE!! I have a few of those, I won't lie, but lately I have been rethinking especially when I can buy three of others like my Muratori (that I posted a pic of) that has AMAZING quality to one of the others...so my bag collection just grows with unique and different items rather than being a posterboard for t he other big brands...maybe its time to help the smaller guys out:) I love to hear the story about what they are doing etc...but that is just me:)

I agree with what a lot of ladies say here in that I remember getting tons of compliments on inexpensive bags I used to carry. It could be that I would spend a lot of shopping time finding a very unique bag whereas now I buy pretty much classics. So maybe not as exciting. I was thinking about this recently when I attended a conference and carried a prada gauffre. As stunning as I think it is, I saw 2 bags that day, i'm sure inexpensive, that I was secretly obsessing over.
Of the higher end bags I carry, I'd have to say my YSL RG gets the most compliments, from men & women. I think it's the tan (caramel) color. It's also my favorite bag.

I think you're right, people like visual! :D so here are my Vuitton franges bags, both speedy and bucket that ALWAYS get eyed and the occasional pointing and whispering... most probably people who are not familiar with the line think they're fake :p Sorry I don't know how to watermark on my mac since I don't have an app for that so hopefully no stealing here! As some others have stated, my designer bags get less compliments than some of my cheaper bags. I bought a black fabric bag on clearance at White House Black Market on a trip to use in the rain and it gets the most compliments from women. It is a cute bag but I just picked it up for the rain :)

Men compliment my Treesje Asher the most.
