Believe it or not, my Dooney and Bourke Heart Tattoo bag has gotten me the most compliments. I bought one as soon as Nordstrom's got them available, and carried it a few times. I got tons of compliments and people wanting to know where I got it. Even the dudes at the tattoo parlor were impressed with it, and you could tell that they normally wouldn't care about such a thing.

No one around here says anything about my LV or Bbags. They probably assume they are fake. Dumb hicks! I'm a hick too...but a smart one! *LOL*

My Marc Jacobs Quilted Venetia. I think because it's big and black and brass, it makes people go 'oooo' and 'ahhhhh'. The icy leather is nice too, it adds almost a patent like sheen to it.

Out of all my designer bags, most compliments hands down would be my Charm & Luck hobo bag. Probably because it has all the flashy rhinestones. White bag w/ brown, pink & clear rhinestones. I got tired of that bag real quick and gave it to my mom. Now she gets all the compliments.

I don't get many compliments (or comments even) on bags, but both my mom and my sister have said they liked my 04 pewter First...the color, particularly (and the fact that it's the first "small" bag I have carried in a LONG time!). On tPF I have gotten a lot of comments on my yellow Scout, too! Can't leave out the Scout!

(sorry for all the markings on the First, but with eBay lately we can't be too careful!) :mad:

I have gotten a ton of compliments on this bag: (Isabella Fiore Audra hobo aka "Katie Holmes bag")

My stepdaughter wanted it, so I got it for her but she defaulted on her 'payment plan' so now it's MINE! :love:

I actually plan to let it go soon, since my Bal purse is here- I've only worn it a few times but I CONSTANTLY get people stopping me asking where I got it when I do wear it. My SA at Nordstrom says that bag caused so much anguish for SAs (due to scarce availability) that she cringes whenever she sees one. :laugh: It's been fun while it lasted though! :laugh:

I like it too. The thing I like about it though is the leather has gotten softer as I've carried it. Its a heavier bag but it is SOOO comfy on the shoulder. I have acquired too many bags lately so this one will need to be adopted via eBay.

lol today I wore my magenta first and one of the guys I work with was like "ohhh you're stylin'!" then proceeded to take the purse off my arm and try it on. He's a constant joker, but I don't like anyone touching my babies but me so I promptly snatched it back! hahaha

I would say the color in the eBay auction I referenced is pretty accurate. I would describe the color as a whiskey brown-- but I swear the one I have has gotten a bit darker with use. I would definitely not call it chocolate- the one Katie Holmes wore I believe was the same color but looked darker in the photos of her wearing it. It's pretty and a bit distressed and really pebble-y in texture.
