Where's Your Bag in the car/when you're driving?

I always chose the best place in the car for my bags :)

It's always either.. the passengers seat if no one is sittingin my car OR the back seat if the front passenger's seat is taken. The back seat IF MY BOYFRIEND/FRIENDS refuse to hold it. And if I must, THE BACK of the car if I am driving alot of people. BUT, I rarely do that, it's usually ON THE LEFT SIDE OF ME, SITTING WITH ME (like Jess and her Damier LV) because I really don't enjoy being apart from my bags :) Hehehe!

Backseat if someone's in the front, passenger's seat if I'm driving alone. I once stuck my backpack and some groceries on the front seat of my mom's car and couldn't figure out why the seatbelt alarm kept going off. Turns out that it registered it as a person.

If there's no one in the car, passenger seat, otherwise it's on the back seat. If it's a clutch, then my sister (my usual passenger) will hold it in her lap. She knows how precious they are!

"Kids ride in the back. My purse is the passenger seat. If someone is sitting in the passenger then they have to hold it...lol"

ditto! I never put things on the ground in general, too dirty! The other day I was at Bloomies and I saw a woman with a white Gryson (about $800 I think), and it was filthy! Not in a "oops, got an ink stain on my bag" kind of way, but a worn-out grimy way. While we all know how hard it is to take care of a white bag, we don't walk outside the house with grimy white pants, so why walk out the door with a grimy white handbag? How we use our bags on a daily basis determines whether they look grimy or not, because no amount of care will make a bag look good if the bag is constanly being tossed around carelessly.

Anyways, sorry to get on such a soapbox about it. In general, I'm a bit fussy about dirt.

I typically keep mine in the passenger seat of my car, but whenever I have to drive someone somewhere it ends up in the back seat. This is incredibly inconvenient whenever you need to pay tolls or grab anything out of your purse.

I'm wondering what other solutions there are. I always feel bad asking my passenger to put it next to their feet.

If I am by myself in the passenger seat. If I have someone w/ me I put it behind my seat. If I know I will have to pay tolls or something, I keep my wallet up front with me, in the side compartment on my door. I have a SUV.

I put my purse on the passenger seat when I am alone and in the backseat when I have someone with me. I never need it when I am in the car as I keep sunglasses, lip balm, a pouch with small bills and a roll of quarters in the middle compartment next to me. Also, when I first get into the car, I take my cell phone out of my purse and put it in next to me in one of the holders so I don't have to fumble for it if it rings while I am driving.

When alone, I put it in the passenger seat, but if there is another person in the car I usually put it between the drivers seat and the door, unless the bag is too wide then it goes in the back.
