Usually my purse rides on the passenger seat. However,if I have a guest then she rides in the back seat or if I am running errands and I may put her in the trunk of my car.

If i am driving, I usually put mine on the passenger seat

If i have a passenger, then it goes on my left hip between me and the door

If my hubby or anyone else is driving then my bag goes on my lap...

NEVER put your bag on the floor, it is bad money luck!!!

Passenger seat if no one else is with me (never buckled, tho LOL).
If it's a short distance and someone is with me, then, between the door and myself. (doors are always locked).
If we are going somewhere far, then the backseat, or on the floor, depending on who/what is back there.
It it's just a clutch or a wallet, the passenger must hold it, no matter the distance!
If someone else is driving, then, my lap or the backseat.

If I'm by myself it's placed carefully in the front passenger seat, and if there's a passenger then it's in my lap. My car only has two seats so unfortunately sometimes it has to go in my lap :push:.

If I'm the only one in the car, my bag is on the passenger side floor. It would be in the seat, but I'm in sales and work out of my car so the passenger seat is my "desk." When someone is riding with me, my bag gets put behind the passenger seat so I can still reach it.

Depending on the size of the purse I'll put it on the passenger seat or, if the purse is small enough, between myself and the driver-side door. If my SO is in the car, he gets to hold onto my purse. Any other guest in my car and I'll either have them hold it or put in the back.

Whatever bag I am shouldering for the day is securely strapped in the passenger seat. If the bag is large & full enough it sometimes activates the airbag sensor, so then I know it will be safe in case of a fender bender!

I never allow my handbags to feel the floor. I once was doing make-up for a sports celebrity & had not yet hung my bag on the makeup chair, but instead it was resting in the make-up seat. I almost fainted when my client lifted my bag from the seat & attempted to drop it on the floor. I quickly scooped it away from him, hung it up, gave my client a huge smile & proceeded w/ his make-up application.

Either in the passenger seat or floor. Or when someone is with me, then in the back seat. It's really not a big deal to me. If I have to hit the breaks suddenly, my son is the first thing I think about not my bag.
