passenger seat when i'm by myself. when i have a passenger, it sits in the seat behind me and i keep my cell phone in the cup holder just in case. but if all the seats in my car are full, my BF holds it either by his feet or on his lap (depends on the bag of course hehe).

I always have it in the passenger seat when driving by myself. But sometimes depending on the passenger I will have my bag on their lap.. LMAO. Usually my bf's lap or my close friends. Otherwise, backseat is where they all go.

I always place it in the passenger seat (perhaps I need to change that if it's not safe). If someone is in the passenger seat, I put it behind the driver's seat on the floor.

My smaller bags used to fit perfectly on top of the two cupholders in my car, but now that I have a slightly larger bag, it won't fit in the same space. If I'm alone, I put my bag on the passenger seat, but when I have someone in the car with me, I can never figure out where to put my bag. If I didn't need access to what's in my bag, I guess I could leave it in the back seat, but I feel like I always end up needing at least one thing while I'm driving (lip balm, my phone, etc).

So where do you put your bags while driving? Lap, floor, back seat?

When I'm alone I place my bag on the passenger seat. But when my son rides with me I place it in the middle back of my van. Or sometimes it can fit between the driver and passenger side.

If I'm by myself, it's on the passenger seat. Depending on who's with me, they'll either hold my purse or put it on the backseat. I usually don't need anything while driving. And I avoid having my phone near me, since I can get a ticket if it looks like I have it with me while driving.

If I'm alone, my bag goes on the passenger seat. If I have a passenger, it usually goes on the backseat. If the backseat is completely full, then the front seat passenger holds my bag. :p

As for things I may need (usually just my phone), I usually take it out and leave it in the cupholder or something, since I don't like rummaging through my bag to get it out when I'm in the middle of driving anyway.
