Where to place bag when in restaurant?

Good Heavens, never put it on the floor of a bathroom. I saw a 20/20 type show where they went around swabbing things for germs, and the bottoms of purses were almost always contaminated with fecal matter from being set on the bathroom floor. Do the one-handed levitation dance if you have to!:yucky:

Usually I put my bag on a spare chair and push it under the table so my bag will be away from potential spills.:sweatdrop: The purse hooks are also great - I got a lovely one from my sweet buddy a few RAOKS ago and it holds any of my bags beautifully:tup:

i put them at the back of the chair behind me, i don't want to seem like its my only bag or that i'm too obessed with bags even i place them on my lap while eating, that is not very comfortable anyways.

Hopefully we get a booth but if not, it is usually three of us, me, my hubby, and our 3 y/o so we normally have an extra chair for my other baby :)

I am too paranoid to have my purse hanging from the back of my chair, not so much of it being stolen, more so people bumping it and knocking it on the dirty floor or careless servers spilling on it.

normally i just put it on my chair behind me.. but if the chair is small and i get too uncomfortable with it behind me i put it on another chair if its available.. and if its not its on my lap it goes.. good thing i lovve damier.. im very clumsy!

It's always either on my lap or in the booth right next to me. If I want to make sure it doesn't get soiled, I place my jacket or a napkin over it to protect it from accidental spills.

This is why I love my 25s.... they fit on my lap. I won't ever, ever put my LV on a restaurant floor, and in NYC the restaurants are mostly too small to have extra seats for purses. I also love my Noe because it can hang from the back of the chair!

Usually, I put it on my chair behind me, or another chair if available. Worse case, I would put it in my lap. I would never put it on the floor. The purse hooks seem like a wonderful alternative! I am definitely considering that.
