Hard agree, I took all my bags out of the boxes last year because apparently you’re not supposed to put them in the boxes (I found this out VERY late) but about all I do is that I keep them in their dust bags in my closet and try not to have them crammed in there. Other than that, I just wear and enjoy them. I didn’t buy them as pieces of art, I bought them to carry them!

I also don’t really get the point of “collecting” - either multiples of the same bag, or tiny mini bags that don’t fit anything, or multiples of the same print (like multiple Kusama pieces etc). I like variety!

I have some in their boxes and they are fine. And …I agree with what you said!

I kept my purses in their boxes for years and they've all been totally fine. No discoloration or odors whatsoever!

Last year, I bought those clear acrylic display bins from Amazon to actually display them in, on my closet shelf. So I did finally take them out of the boxes but only so I could see them :D and now I enjoy looking at them in the bins every time I go into my closet. The bins can look a little cheap but they're temporary until we remodel our master bathroom & closet in a few months and I get built-ins, so it works for now

I'm thinking about a new cabinet mainly so I can see them as well. I do take them all out for inspection quarterly and all have been fine.

LV, LV, LV. You have to do much better on the women's denim collection. This is not a joke when the Sa sends you pictures of new arrivals and the handbags looks like something that was purchased from Forever21, H&M and I have seen better quality at Target. These prices definitely are not in par with the HORRIBLE quality. And I have a suspicion that not all of these rejected poor quality returned products are sold out on your website. I just think LV is updating their online system to say product not available.

That denim is a pass for me to….

The recent designs are lazy. It started with the folded canvas corners. If you look at bags from pre-2000, they had lots of details: reinforced corners, piping along the bottom, extra hardware and trim, etc. They took more steps to make.

Now I see new releases that look like it takes less than 10 steps to make. The Atlantis bag, for example. Just a basic grocery bag made from monogram canvas. Basic pochettes with a canvas strap for $3000. Cheap denim and raffia. In the past LE were really special. I got married in 2010 and lusted after the monogram Eden speedy. Look at the details on that bag! Strips of leather sewn throughout, beautiful details. That bag was worth the $2000 price tag back then. These days I don’t see anything like it, and the prices are astronomical. It’s enough to drive me to buy pre-2000 for half the price and double the workmanship.

Agree. The new designs are a no for me as well. The older designs were so interesting and character. I purchased the low key hobo and it arrived Thursday. I’m not sure about it. I should post a pic. It is beautiful for sure but I think it’s kinda heavy with my stuff in it. The lock is interesting but it makes the bag kinda fold in on itself.

Hermes Eveylne 29 is a much prettier leather hobo (changed to a shorter strap wearing as hobo) in my opinion.
