What’s your unpopular Hermes opinion?

UO: I’m fine with influencers and anybody else buying however many H bags their heart desires. A person having a whole castle filled with H bags doesn’t bother me. But what’s obnoxious to me is a person going on YouTube/other media to show off the new H bag(s) they get every month, for years on end (while each time claiming it’s their “dream bag”). We get it—you have a lot of H bags and you really like them all. So why not simply enjoy them and quit the constant flexing/(not so) humble bragging? It doesn’t make folks want to click your affiliate links for the random non-H products that you’re hacking and it eventually just comes off as …

UO: I have very skinny legs, ankles and feet so I look like a duck in Chypre sandals. They look overwhelming and disproportionately large and ridiculous on me and on others who share these attributes.

Lol. I have the same attributes, and I wear them anyway. Now one thing I have to be really careful with wearing is wedges because not only am I thin, but my feet are small and when I wear wedges, I look like I have baby giraffe feet.

It is not that unpopular any more.
My UO: I find most of the bicolor or tricolor special order bags gaudy.
I had the same reaction recently when seeing loads of bicolor pieces with a real ick feeling.
Adding to the unpopular opinion, the Himalaya just reminds me of an albino alligator I saw in Louisiana once.

+1: Bags like this (recent example found in influencer thread) are some people’s dream bags and I’m truly happy for the people who are happy to have them … but they’re hideous to me:
I don’t mind the look of bicolor/tricolor bags when the colors are similar to one another so the overall look is “harmonious”.
But I find bags with major contrast in colors agitating to look at because the dramatic different-colored “stripes” of the sangles, sides and handle interrupt the visual continuity of the otherwise-beautiful natural shape of the bag. It bothers my eyes …

@Lady_P You just reminded me of a photo that I have almost totally forgotten. It is a hideous one that was offered to a friend from quite a few years ago. It is so ugly that even the person who ordered it did not want it. My friend had the sense to pass.
My UO: If one ordered a bag that even the “mother” can’t love, that person should be banned for life.
Trust me. This is far from the most hideous. But it made me sick to look at it.
Another opinion that is unpopular with me but popular with the creator of this bag: They don’t understand why I keep buying black bags or even SO black bags. They must think I am really dumb as one can’t tell from five miles away that it is an SO.
