I know that H is armed with shrink wrap machines for those who demand to be the first to unwrap the box. I have seen that hissy fit in a review online.
This blows my mind; it would never even occur to me. In all my years (OMG, like 27 years) I can count
on one hand the number of times I have even seen an item being unwrapped from the plastic.
Is it an UO that I would want my SA to check what’s in the box before presenting it to me?
many (myself included) have stopped posting offers in general. That is a shame because again, to your point, it does provide great perspective in terms of what is available, colours that are in heavy rotation, etc.
@jenayb
Let me plead to you all
not to refrain from posting offers; ALTERNATIVELY, if you want to remain private, please send them to me directly at TheNotoriousPink1 @ gmail . com (photos not necessary but appreciated). I use MANY sources to put together my color charts, and several TPF threads are among my first stops.
[I am working on it right now, and my brain is starting to fry because on the H websites I have to translate color names. Some countries turn the names into a phonetic spelling (“Aban” in Korean is Havane, I think???
), while other languages don’t quite translate to English (Gris Misty in Chinese is, ah…“Cumulous Cloud Ash”
)]
I feel the same when it comes to other Hermes H-branded merchandise, and I also dislike Kelly lock detail used on shoes, belts and so on... If one has a Birkin or Kelly with this lock mechanism, why would he/she want to wear the matching shoes, belt, jewellery?
I get this, but honestly the Kelly belt may be one of H’s most value-for-price items because of the easy size adjustability. I don’t mind the turnlock, it’s actually easier to close than a regular belt, and I think it is
comparatively understated.
I dislike the emphasis on in-crowd acronyms! A QB weirdly isn't Patrick Mahomes, and an SO is constructed of leather and hardware and not that very patient guy over there.

This is so clever, I just had to acknowledge you.
UO: I find this necklace childish. I wouldnt even wear this if i was in my 20s.

Can someone explain what is going on over here?
Ok, my UO is that I don’t understand all the concern about pre-spend - I’m not talking about actual amounts spent (an issue I definitely understand), I’m talking about people struggling to “find” what to buy. I have
never (not once!) counted how much I’ve spent and TBH I have the
opposite problem: I loooooove so many different things H offers that I have to make an effort to not go crazy!

But then I don’t ask for bags all that often; the 2 QB per year is plenty for me (another UO).
