I feel the same when it comes to other Hermes H-branded merchandise, and I also dislike Kelly lock detail used on shoes, belts and so on... If one has a Birkin or Kelly with this lock mechanism, why would he/she want to wear the matching shoes, belt, jewellery? It feels so unimpressive to me, just a way to show off "look I wear Hermes head to toe".... Social media totally ruined Hermes in a way, it's not a quiet luxury brand anymore, easily recognisable...I also dislike Hermès bags, belts and RTW with ‘H’ all over them including the Constance, the ubiquitous H clasped belt, knits with ‘H’ woven into them, etc. My distaste for obvious logos is not limited to Hermès as I also dislike LV luggage/bags emblazoned with LV, etc. I believe my British grandmother would have described logo wear as gauche…IMO she wasn’t wrong.
Maybe that's why I really like Hermes scarves, there're so many beautiful prints and colours and only connoisseurs might recognise it's a Hermes scarf from a print detail, but you're not covered in logos head to toe, it's almost like an art, each print with its unique character
