Even being housed in climate control, 20 different colors and driven around is not enough for that thread. The comments about Cardi B not looking like an H client is what made me finally put that thread on ignore.

I don’t understand the I hate influencers but watch their every move thing.
Agree 100%. Hmmm...I wonder what makes Cardi B not look like an H client. Probably the same thing that makes me not fit the H client mold. Reeks of racism, classism, and jealousy. I'm so over it.

I always LOVE seeing your mod pics in the h action shots thread! The perfect H client imo

Edited to add-Ive stopped reading that thread because it’s beyond toxic at this point. It’s nauseating

…and treat what they say as gospel. It’s a Karen Convention.

The Hermes and influencers thread is rapidly becoming a hotbed of nasty personal comments about a person's appearance, casting aspersions about individuals' wealth and how they choose to spend their money, and how they choose to prioritise their spending.

Being wealthy is not, and should not be a pre-requisite to be an influencer, nor an Hermes customer. Neither is is it some sort of a moral victory. Having wealth should be a factual point, not something to be admired as a paragon of style, taste or class.

Someone can choose to save their entire lives to buy one Hermes bag, take public transport, house it in an IKEA wardrobe, in a studio apartment or buy 20 of the same bag in different colours, in a custom climate-controlled walk-in wardrobe, in a mansion, being driven around in a Maybach...

Both are valid choices.
Thank you so much for saying this. I've been gritting my (slightly crooked) teeth (so I clearly shouldn't be carrying Hermes!) whilst reading that thread in an effort not to reply! As for class, well most of the truly classy people I know (and I'm talking proper aristocracy here) don't have vast amounts of wealth (gorgeous houses, can't afford to heat them) and have also been taught some manners!
