What’s your unpopular Hermes opinion?

Now I know this is a really unpopular opinion, but I love the lipsticks! The colours are gorgeous, they go on so smoothly for me and have great lasting power. My favourite is Rouge exotique, a fab bright, darker coral that puts some life into my tired face!

+1! When I got my first H liptstick in Rouge H, I threw out all my other lipsticks. I've been hunting for the perfect red for years and I now I have it (as well as a few other colors). I've only tried the satin finish, not the matte, but they're perfect for me!

+3! I love the Plein Air complexion balm for a non make up (but no way could I actually do NO make up ) day. Also the Rose Kola lip oil! I will get around to trying a lipstick eventually

Not every bag needs a strap! I am not talking about bags that come with one already. I know it's popular to do it, but I don't get it. Picotin. Add a strap. Wallet. Add a strap. And whenever I read about someone asking or venting about putting on a strap or why the birkin doesn't have a strap, I need to exit the thread.

Hilarious! Same thoughts! I can't with the fact that every item needs to be turned into a makeshift bag with strap?! haha... I can't!

100%. When I see this I want to say, this is a toiletries bag!! Use it as it was intended for or not at all!

I just can't help but roll my eyes when I see twillies tried on them. I actually said 'WTF' out loud when I first saw this.

No, but I'd love to see longer handles on the Birkin so it can at least go over a shoulder. Those little handles are BRUUUUUTAL when a B35 gets heavy.

I think I may have mentioned this before
BUT my unpopular opinion is that I do wish Hermes would scale the width of shoulder straps to better suit the size of the bag.
I think any Kelly for instance thats larger than a 28 needs a wider strap proportionate to the bag.
Ditto the 24/24 in a 29 really cries out for a wider strap that can be adjusted or have a wider 'shoulder pad' like that on the Jypsiere.

Saw a wannabe influencer I sometimes look at with the BaB and thought about your comment. 10/10. If something is made by Hermes, it doesn't mean you have to wear it lol

I was a big fan also of the Rose Kola lip oil until I discovered MAKE lip serum balm. JMO,
no comparison & just sharing..
Have no affiliation with MAKE just discovered it & love the range of colors, texture, how it
looks & feels on the lips & the packaging is clean & cool looking

I have to totally agree with the MAKE lip oil vs. Hermes. Hermes is nice but really cannot compare to MAKE! MAKE does not have the strong Kola smell of the Hermes lip oil. The Kola one makes me think of when I was a kid- Avon made a Kola lip balm in a coke bottle packaging that I loved. So if you really like the smell then Hermes would win in this category.

That's what stopped me from buying a Birkin 35 and why I prefer my Garden Party 36. I can comfortably get the GP 36 over my shoulder when I am not wearing a coat or heavy sweater, and it is big enough to carry everything I need for work and daily carry. I don't like the JPG at all.

I read this and had to go try on my Birkin 30. I’m home bored out of my mind And it fits over my shoulder. I didn’t think I could even wear it that way lol.
