What's the most disappointing bag you've ever bought?

The RM Hudson Moto Mini... I was just less than thrilled with the size, lining and quality.. I might have gotten a bad one, where quality was lacking, but I was just really let down. Sold it right away.

Sadly the Celine Horizontal cabas. I wanted to love it but it was too flimsy. It didn't hold any shape and I felt like anything I put in it would tear the handles from the bag but then if I don't put anything in it, it's so light, that the straps kept falling off my shoulder. It was so high maintenance, I just went ahead and sold it.

My coach city east west tote in saffiano leather, the medium size, which I purchase at coach outlet in Bicester village. The colour of the bag is black violet. My biggest regret is it is too big for my 5"3 frame. However, the quality of the bag is superb!!

Chloe Paraty
- way too heavy
- leather peeling all over the place
- the hardware by default scratches the leather as soon as you start using it
- the strap is uncomfortable

I still love the way the bag looks, but it's impossible to maintain and not that comfortable to wear

My Louis Vuitton pouchette in the monogram. I love the little bag, but it's just too small. I refuse to get rid of it because it's my first and only Louis Vuitton. I mostly use it to take to my kids' sporting events because it's small or to church where I like to carry a clutch.

Another is the Alexander Wang Rockie. It's heavy. Luckily, I bought it from a thrift store for $25 because they didn't even know that it was a designer bag. I love the cayenne color, but, again, I won't sell it. I'm even thinking of having it cleaned and refreshed.

25$!

Thats a steal!!!!

Interesting! I have one, the medium in black. I do find it heavy, and the sealant on the handles has started cracking on me, probably because the bag is heavy and I used it almost everyday for 3 years. But my leather has never scratched. Still one of my favorite bags despite the couple of issues I've had. I think it's very well made, at least the one I got.

Paid nearly $400 (over $400 with tax) for a DKNY bag. Total impulse buy, but I was going through a solid black leather phase and thought it was cute upon first look. I took it home and took the paper stuffing out of the bag and realized that it looked much, much better fluffed up with the stuffing. I wanted to give it a chance, so I carried it for a couple of months and then realized that it just wasn't my type of bag, so it's now hung up in my closet and has been for a few years now. I typically don't spend that much money on a purse unless I absolutely love it and was seriously let down by the look and quality of the bag. I haven't purchased another DKNY since.

Marc Jacobs Venetia. The bag isn't wrong. It's just doesn't match my style. I love my Stella to death (still using it even now) and should have gotten that instead. Got caught up in the hype and now I refuse to buy only what I really like instead of what's on everyone's list. Still lament over them even after so many years, as you can see. Good lessen learned though.
