What's the most disappointing bag you've ever bought?

my fendi palazzo bucket. ugh... i still have it- but only because i would never get what i'd want for it.

its an odd shape, heavy, boring... though, i was just thinking that if i add a few twillys from Hermes to spruce it up, i *might like it a little more. but it just sits in my closet unused for a few years

The Marc Jacobs quilt stam, the leather has not held up well over the years and I never use it, I also got the matching quilt wallet and the stitching was fraying in a couple of months.

My most disappointing was a marc jacobs quilted baq with the gold chain strap. It was so heavy I didn't even want to carry it empty, much less with my things in it.

Yes it is very heavy. 😞

A BE (Belen Echandia) Stroke Me in Fuschia. It was an older model - the leather was too thin and the handles felt like paper. IMO, the hardware was inexpensive as well as the lining. Thank goodness I could return it. There was nothing "luxury" about it and I bought it at 50% off retail and thought that it was still overpriced. Thank goodness they have made changes and they've bumped up the quality!!

It was my most recent purchase of a mini Alma Vernis in lilac. Within a week, there was transfer, which can't be removed. I did not receive any care instructions and was told to keep the bag away from any possible transfers.

Hi, was it also because of the lack of practicality? I seems that its not really a functional bag?

Mine would be the Jil Sander Acetate Tote Bag. I was excited when I got it because I want a bag I can use for beach or rainy days. But the material so weak the handles keeps on tearing. I wish opted getting floral canvas tote that the acetate one harrr

I did not pick it, but I was gifted a Kathy Van Zeeland bag almost ten years ago and it looked way too glittery and plastic and just really wasn't my style. I sold it on Ebay and someone else was very happy with it!

I also fell for a fake Chloe bag once online, it wasn't even real leather and and awful diarrhea color instead of tan.

This...is now one of the most disappointing!

I purchased a Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac in neon pink in March for $260 (it is $195 in the US but more in Germany). The issues with the unworn, new bag were:

- Paint chipping
- Paint wearing off
- It looks painted, like someone used wall paint
- Paint cracking all over, exposing a grey color underneath
- Paint chipping by the stitching
- Dark smudges...

What you see in the pictures is the replacement bag already. It looks worse than the first...

I am really down at this point. I can't even enjoy the bag anymore, even if I should get a decent bag at some point. I can't get my money back anymore.

My Chanel Maxi. I find it too heavy and with that boxy shape and the way it sits on the shoulder I am constantly bumping into things. Every time I see that bag now on someone I think how did I ever like it.
