What's the most disappointing bag you've ever bought?

Hand-held bags, whatever the brand.

I love the look of hand-held bags, they make feel so 'lady-like' but they're not practical for my lifestyle.

I finally learned the hard way (and after spending $$$) that I had better stick to bags with shoulder straps.

My most disappointing bag is the morning after mini... the leather is awful and I'm too tall to wear it crossbody.

My Marc Jacob Venetia. There's nothing wrong about them. I just don't like handheld bags.

I agree with the YSL reversible tote, not well organized for the girl on the go.

Yeah that's the tough thing about bal -- there have been some not so nice leathers, but they've started getting better again in recent seasons. The leather on these bags really varies bag by bag. The city & velo are still my fav bags though!

I love the style of both. The Velo that I just got is really nice though

Rebecca Minkoff Matinee (both sizes). They were so freakishly heavy even with a few items inside of it. I sold them both and never looked back.

My Louis Vuitton Hampstead PM is a pretty bag, but it's astoundingly heavy with just a few items in it!

Fendi zucca tote. I wanted a 'bad weather/throw everything in it' bag and thought this would be it. I am really gentle on my bags, and "throw everything" in it means about 2-3 lbs of stuff max, but after 2 weeks of use one of the handles starts peeling all over. Absolute, absolute disappointment, especially since for the most part it was sitting on a chair.

Both Kate Spade bags I have. They are beautiful colors but the rolled double handles are super uncomfortable on my shoulders.

Gucci dressage hobo. Looks great when on the table but sags at the bottom (even with light items!) ... hate bags that slouch at the bottom-- ruins the shape!

Finally, I have noticed that a lot of us are disappointed with a bag because of its weight. Lots of sites still ignore that info when presenting the bag.
Yet, it's as important as the measurements....

+1. They just do not fit with my daily life. Too impractical. I need a shoulder strap too.
