If I had known sooner, I would have returned it as well~ It's good that you recognized how impossible that bag is to use before it was too late... I had just purchased the bag in the states before I went out of the country for summer vaca.....and by the time I came back..it was too late and I had the tag and covering on it for at least half a year before I took it out....

oh no, i'm so sorry to hear that..i hope you were able to sell it at least recoup some money. the worst part is that chloes usually have horrible re sale value. :p

Lol I have a few to complain about. First, I agree paddington is very heavy, but I quite enjoy the soft and supple leather. I also really like the look of my patent gucci Indy, but it's a bit awkward to open and close, same goes my Hermes herbag. The purchase really surprised my in a bad way has to be that bow clutch I bought off katespade. I joke it as the Madame maxim clutch because it's huge! Possibly designed for the French lady headmaster in Harry potter the goblet of fire:p

Mine is the Chloe Paddington as well.
Just didn't work for me.

Some Balenciagas as well were regrets - color and leathers just not worth the price.

Loving still my LVs though. The Speedy is sometimes hard to find things in, but such a classic. Love the look of it on anyone I see carrying one - Monogram canvas.

I find it's hard to find things in the dark lining of my Speedy. I always put in a white piece of paper, usually cardstock, and it brightens the interior of the bag consideraby.

The MJ petal to the metal natasha in cement. The leather looks old and dry despite light use and I've applied conditioner a couple of times. Forget about it being an everyday bag and the style is too casual for anything else. I guess I expected more as I had a Michael Kors Layton in the same price range that still looked new after a couple of years of almost daily use.
This was my most disappointing bag purchase, too! I wanted it for ages and pounced when PL had a 30% off sale last year, but I was so sad when I got it. The leather on mine looked so cheap--it looked and felt like a faux leather bag from Urban Outfitters. It also seemed way too delicate, the color was meh, I could go on and on about how disappointing that bag was. I returned it immediately.

First, a Valentino bag, I don't know the name. A 2011 model in camel suede and long golden chain. It just doesn't stay closed, empty or not.

Second, Alexander Wang Rocco duffle bag. It has 5 kilos, those huge strange studs won't form a normal bottom, it get's a strange flat form if nit extremelly full and that laser cut leather it's impossible to clean (color transfer from some jeans).

The Dior Chri-Chri - I lusted after this forever and never bought it as it was just too much money - in hindsight it was so flippin heavy it seemed like shoulder surgery waiting to happen!

Mine was a Chloe Paddington also. The lock was way too heavy. It was awkward to get into. I sold it to a resale shop. My favorite bags so far are my LV's. (Speedy 30 Monogram, Monogram Wilshire and Damier Ebene Hampstead)

Marc Jacobs Stam, Chloe Paddington, A couple Balenciaga's (although I generally love Bal), a few Chanel's lol

I've pretty much been dissapointed in the quality of many brands I love. Except for LV? And I don't own one single LV piece currently...go figure. Maybe I need to reconsider that.

A Givenchy Melancholia white lambskin bag. It had a very exquisite pleated design on the front with white organza but I was so worried that it'd get stained quite easily. It was on sale on Bluefly and I was new to handbags and didn't know I could get better deals elsewhere.

I agree with you! I was so excited when I got one years ago and it was soooo heavy!!! Never carried it....sold it.

Mine would be the Olivia Harris round sack tote. I thought it was cool at first, really soft lambskin, easy to get in and out of etc. However, about 2 weeks into carrying it, it looks so old and beat up. Not what I expected from a $400 dollar bag. I do get, that's part of the design, hip, cool and unstructured. I regret the purchase.
