What's the most disappointing bag you've ever bought?

Jimmy Choo Rosalie, looks fab but not practical for me at all!

You read my mind. I bought one in white embossed croc and that was the biggest waste of $$$$ that I could think of. First of all, don't get me started on the poorly designed front handle that becomes weak and cuts where it joins to the bag because of the front flap [rolls eyes]. There's also the fact that I bought it in white, which is never a smart thing to do anyways at that price point. Before the bag degenerated any further, I sold it to BBOS and recovered a few pennies for it and then put myself on a lifelong ban on all Jimmy Choo products (which shouldn't be too hard considering very few of them appeal to me and I'm not really a shoe person).

Kooba. I was excited about it but now I question it's authenticity. I could have sewn a better seam in the lining. It's sewn correctly most of the way, then folded in and sewn from the outside. You think they would have taken the time to insert the lining properly on $500+ bag. The textured leather just doesn't feel right to me. I don't know anyone who has a Kooba that I could compare mine with. It looks exactly like others that I've seen posted here and other places. If this is Kooba's quality, that is disappointing. I just don't know about this bag....

It's a shame because I like the Kooba Jackson Satchel and a couple other bags of theirs but I'm reluctant to purchase unless I can do it in a department store where I can actually SEE it.

I have one Kooba and bought another for a friend. The leather is really nice and the lining in both bags are purplish and really soft cotton. I bought one at offsaks and the other at Last Call on clearance. Did you order it online?

I bought it off ebay awhile ago. The lining is purplish and soft; suede-looking but it's not suede. The bag weighs a ton. I put Leather Honey and it didn't seem to absorb it, like a breathable skin would....that is what bothers me also.

I can't remember the name of the bag but it was a Mulberry I bought in 2004. Leather like the Bayswater oak. The bag opened at the top, there 2 straps & buckles that kept I closed, kinda like the Alexa but it looked like a tool box. Could hold it by the handles but it also had a strap so you can use it as a shoulder bag or cross body. The thing was darn heavy. I loved it but couldn't stand it. I traded it with a friend for a D & G denim skirt. Best darn trade ever.

Aw that's too bad. Sorry to hear that. Hate buying something I can't enjoy.

I'm on a Jimmy choo bag ban also! I've purchased 3 choo bags and they were all lemons! Never again!

A Furla Giselle tote. The problem is that I actually adore this bag -- it's my perfect bag EXCEPT the strap drop is one inch too little to be carried on the shoulder, and I only do shoulder bags. If it weren't for this one flaw, I'd never need another bag.
