My first designer bag was a Burberry. It was a black leather and wool tote in the maxi check pattern. I was 17 and absolutely loved it. I used it as my book bag in my final year of high school and first year of university. I still have it - it still looks great but I haven’t carried it in over 10 years I think

My first “designer” bag was a Vivienne Westwood Yasmin which I bought when I was about 17. It was bright orange/red patent and I loved it so much I bought a black patent one to go with it. I still have both but never use them anymore as I really don’t care for patent leather at all these days, the shape of the bag is great, quite a retro style but I bust the zip and can’t be bothered to repair.
My first premium design bag was a Dior black perforated leather canage east west Lady Dior style bag which I also still have but never use, I should really bring her out of retirement!

My first designer handbag was a Michael Kors Hamilton. I absolutely wanted it and thought for weeks about buying it or not. At the time it seemed quite pricey to me (350€).
However, my first expensive designer bag was my Speedy B 30! I lusted after this bag for so many, many years (way before I bought the MK bag but at that time could not justify a handbag that expensive) and it actually is mine [emoji171] Now I actually make a happy dance when a bag I want is in the 3 digits and not the 4 [emoji85]

My first designer purse was the Speedy 30 in Mono that was back in 2007. And for 11 years owning it, I've only worn it probably 5 times. The patina still in pristine condition! I don't want to sell it though.. its a very sentimental piece. First designer purse that my husband bought to me plus its a Louis Vuitton classic.

For me also all started with speedy 30 in mono, that I also only used handfull of times...
First 'big girl' bag was a Marc Jacobs Stam bag in mouse, which might be the best greige ever. Twelve years later and it's still one of my favorites. My daughter will inherit this bag.
A Loewe camera bag. Got it as payment for giving private math lessons while in High School to a family friends’ daughter. My mother thought accepting money would be distasteful
