Do we count non-designer bags?
Assuming we aren't, my first bag was this beautiful gold Ted Baker Shopper Tote. Saw it literally glistening in the window of their store and had to get it. It was 50% off at the time, and if that wasn't a sign then I don't know what is. 100% leather and a total steal. Ridiculously rugged.
first non-school bag I remember in kindergarten was a fabric backpack stitched in form of a mouse face made of different patches of color...lol I remember carrying it around proudly one time pretending I was a cool grundge punk teen (those were our idols back then in the early-mid 90s, now that this style is back I feel so old haha )
first bag I consciously picked myself was mini-messenger crossbody bag made of brown corduroy with the 00s obligatory outside cell phone and pen pockets...sooo cool carrying my bulky nokia around
first designer bag was LV speedy 25 in monogram canvas for my 18th birthday, I had always liked the look of it already when I was a kid, so I was sooo happy when my mother went to the store with me to buy it...
first designer bag I bought myself when I graduated from college was a preowned LV bucket PM also in monogram canvas, though I don't use it much it always stands on my closet as a reminder what I achieved, makes me very proud...
