Hi everyone! I would like you to help me choose a new work bag to celebrate a raise please. I've been wearing monogram neverfull to work for pretty much 5 years now and i love this bag. I got her in Paris and so is a very special bag to me. On weekends I wear a DE speedy and in summers i wear my azur neverfull.
I don't carry a laptop to work but still like to put a lot of stuff in my bag incl a cardigan etc. I find the neverfull thin straps dig into my shoulder a little though so a bag with a wider strap would be preferable.
From my search i was considering the graceful and neonoe but i haven't seen them in person yet. I would be grateful for any suggestions and advice. I'm planning to go the lv store in a weeks time. Thank you so much for your help!!

First of all, congrats on the raise!

I enjoy shopping for others! Here’s what I’ve picked for you. How about...

1) Montaigne GM
2) Empreinte Melie
3) Jersey - I contemplated putting this on the list based on your “thin straps” comment. But I’m adding it anyway [emoji854].
4) Pernelle

I especially like the bags with two different handles. This way you can use the shorter handle if your shoulder needs a break.

Good luck! I look forward to seeing what you choose. [emoji847]

Of the two pieces you've mentioned, I'd vote for the Graceful. I think the Neonoe is cute, but like my bags bag-shaped.

I'm tentatively eyeing a Normandy as my next bag since DE is also my favorite print. You've got a shoulder strap or you can carry by the handles. I actually saw someone in store earlier this week with one and she had a thin cardigan in one compartment and wallet and other items in the second compartment. I suppose it does matter how thick your cardigan is though.

I have an Iena PM in monogram that I got as a gift from my mom. At the time they didn't have DE print, but now they do. The straps on the Iena are a lot more comfy than the NF straps. And you get a cute pocket in the front. My PM holds a lot and fits my body more but there's an MM as well. I tried it on in store, but the MM size overwhelms me and I would never be able to fill it.

Ladies, thank you all for your advice!! I very much appreciate it. There are so many bags on your lists that i haven't thought of before but after looking them up on the lv site i am definitely considering them now. This has become really exciting

Please keep the suggestions coming. Now i don't know if i can wait all the way till next weekend to get to the lv store :P

Hi! i wasn't sure where to post this since I'm not just specifically looking at Louis vuitton, but will consider other bags as well…

I'm looking for a cute designer bag for work. I'm looking for something practical - shoulder strap to make carrying easy, will fit a small laptop and some files (I'm a lawyer), and will be able to handle the daily weight of carrying back and forth.

I would also LOVE some mod shots of works bags!

Louis has the best selection in my opinion, but I kinda hate that they're geared toward men (like all designers) and don't come in more colors (mostly black/navy/brown).

DH and I went to the LV store finally today. The SA was very helpful and showed us a lot of bags including a list of your suggestions. It was love at first sight with Ponthieu PM empreinte in marine rouge. Never considered this bag before but once i saw it couldn't put it down! Thank you all for your help!!
