I carried my Speedy B25 DE to work everyday since I received it for my birthday 2 years ago. I’m letting it rest and moved onto the Prada Esplanade. I was the first person with a designer handbag at work and others started to up their game. It’s honestly the most forgiving bag and I love it.

I used to carry a neverfull gm on a daily basis to the office... I recently acquired the alma voyage mm... I love it! Everything fits! Took some getting used to since it is a bit larger and felt like I was carrying luggage... but now it’s definitely grown on me. I think it will be my everyday work bag for a while

I’m thinking of selling my prada saffiano double zip tote in cammeo since i haven’t been using it much and the quality of prada saffiano is really horrible. both my prada is scuffed really badly on the corners.

I tend to sway towards smaller crossbody bags even for work & just carry a laptop bag if i need to bring my laptop. Same reason why i thought about selling the neverfull at one point. The alma seems to fit more than the eva if i need to go on vacation or something too. But if i sell the prada i’ll have an all canvas & black bag collection? will i have too many bags in DE? i think the alma looks best in that print though. I wish to add a chanel mini in a pop of colour somewhere down the road if that makes a difference.

Has anyone used an alma as a work or everyday bag? would it be weird with work clothes ? I’m thinking of getting it in DE.

That depends also on your work clothes and work environment. But the Alma is such a classic bag and if you feel that DE maybe won’t fit your work clothes, maybe get it in leather?

I use my BB's daily and quite frankly all of them dress up or down very well in a professional environment. Smaller bags work for me right now especially in the winter and I am able to take all my essentials which I have posted pictures in a few threads. The Eva does not fit no where near what the Alma BB does. As far as having too many bags in one print I would say that is a matter of personal preference. I will say the DE Alma BB is a great little bag and does well in jeans just as in a skirt suit. I suppose it will depend what you are wanting to carry with you. Also as far as the corners of your bag being scuffed I would say that will happen to any bag if banged around enough. Hope that helps!

Hi everyone!!! I haven’t been on in a while, I’ve been on a spend hold for a few months.

I got a new job and will be commuting into the city everyday (mostly by train and walking a bit).

I need a new bag for work to carry my laptop (15 inch MacBook Pro), water bottle, sweater, notebook, wallet, ect and everything else I need. So I need it to be BIG!

I currently have a Damier Ebene Neverfull MM and I’m obsessed with it but I don’t like how tight it is with my laptop in there, I need more room.

I am looking at getting a Neverfull GM but I have a few concerns:

-I love the finished handles on the Damier Ebene, but I don’t think I want to get the exact same print and exact same bag just bigger?

-I like the regular monogram pattern but am so worried about the unfinished handles not patina-ing well. I don’t want to be too worried about my bag on the train, or walking Incase it rains ect.

-I would love the Damier Ebene if I could change the color of the inside but I don’t see that option on the website for the GM size.

-can Damier Ebene Be Mon monogrammed? That could help separate it from my current bag

Or do you guys have any ideas of better commuter bags? I looked into Dagne Dover and like them but was not in love, I need bigger I think. I also was thinking Longchamp le pillage neo and that’s still an option but I think the large Longchamp is the same size as the MM Neverfull.

I also do the train/walk commute, and for me at least, having one large bag (e.g., a NF GM) to carry everything just wouldn’t work. In addition to being heavy, a super-sized bag can be very awkward on crowded trains (just in terms of banging into fellow passengers and taking up room when seated). For me, a laptop bag coupled with a regular-sized purse to carry my personal items works best. From observing my fellow passengers, those that travel with regularity tend to use the laptop bag/backpack + purse combo.

So I'm in need of a new work bag but unsure of what to get. So far I've been looking at the Tournelle MM, Popincourt MM and the Pallas. Anyone who has one of these and can tell me if you're happy with/what you use it for?

And if someone has any other suggestions I'm happy to hear them. All I ask is that it's around the same size as the ones above and that it has a zip or a closure like the Artsy or Melie
