I’m finishing the “high end” bracelets in my stack this month. I have appointments booked at VCA & Cartier. I’m eyeing the 5 motif Alhambra in onyx and MOP, as well as the small JUC with/without diamonds.

I’ll end up with any of the above!

Otherwise, I’m looking for some shorter, choker length necklaces (most likely in a white metal) to layer with my RG diamond JUC pendant. I have a necklace on its way from my mother in law for my birthday & a silver name necklace coming too. Looking forward to see if either of these work.

This year I’ve whittled down my earring collection & I’m pretty happy. I change daily depending on mood/outfit so I don’t spend a lot on them. Also very content with my 3 watch collection & my rings! Wow. My husband will be pleased

That ring is so gorgeous
Thank you xxxx

Sometimes the stone looks a bit pink because of the pinks, sometimes purer than my DIF because it’s D VS2 Type 11a so chemically free of nitrogen..I love it too!xxx

It quite an elongated pear-a bit like a marquise with a rounded top, as you know I love marquise diamonds!

Updated list :
- Rolex Oyster Perpetual 28 with silver dial (already on interest list)
- Diamond earrings, preferably drop earrings
- Jade earrings (drop earrings)
- YG VCA Frivole bracelet and necklace in mini size, I have to try them first to be sure though
- Cartier panthere ring in small size. Although this one is long shot. Last time I went to the boutique, they didn't carry my size. I don't have Cartier boutique in my city so I can only buy it during vacation.

I just picked up my OP 28mm from AD after 10 months waiting and a price increase. Now I'm off to ban island.

UPDATE!
1) TENNIS BRACELET

I decided I wanted something I could see when I wore it--and decided to get a tennis bracelet, inspired by the lovely @Onebagtoomany

This is on order.

I'd still like a tennis necklace, but I got really frustrated with "no return" policies and 14k not 18k and it got to be overwhelming, so I bailed on the necklace for now.

The tennis bracelet arrived and was a bit of a kerfluffle because the clasp had nickel in the WG and it burned my arm. BUT the jeweler could replace that part and it is good to go. I'll get it in a week or so.
2) Cartier Love Cuff - eventually

I still want this and am saving towards it, but now I want the GIANT ONE which costs a lot more. I will stick with the smaller one I think.
3) South Seas Pearls - don't need to be designer, perfectly round, or super $$$.

The ones I was stalking are sold out, so I am hoping they come back.

They came back! I ordered them!!!
They arrived and they aren't perfect, but a perfect foray into the genre at $395 US from $2900, so fine with me. I'm going to get a new clasp for them, which will be better and then I'll have a semi-nice SS strand for a bargain
4) I still really want these earrings:

I still want these earrings!
Other than that, I'm enjoying what I have...
I am still doing that.

But the LOVE cuff is on my radar...

My long term wishlist
  1. Diamond stud earrings
  2. Tennis bracelet
  3. VCA onyx bracelet
  4. Delicate white gold or silver bracelet, not sure on the brand yet as I haven’t found anything that I like
  5. Delicate gold diamond necklace like my Tiffany one, I did have this. But lost this. I’m tempted to buy this from Cartier as I don’t have anything from there, but also know it’s not financially smart.
  6. Cartier clash bracelet? Not sure yet as I know Cartier’s rose gold doesn’t really last
  7. Hermes dog bracelet - I know not really fine jewelry piece but I buy everything for long term and it makes a good statement piece
I currently lack a good bracelet stack in both gold and white gold/silver so trying to focus on this. I only want one piece in the big brands if I have these, but prefer slightly different or not so common pieces. If anyone has any ideas ideas please do let me know, I like both something feminine and edgy.

Items I’ve already acquired that I consider long term- I like to have both in gold and white gold/silver where possible for pieces I love.
  1. Tiffany DBTY in white gold
  2. Delicate gold necklace for everyday
  3. Delicate white gold diamond heart necklace (slightly different design) from independent jeweler
  4. Delicate white gold diamond necklace also from independent jeweler
  5. Everyday delicate fine rings in gold and white gold (for multiple fingers)
  6. Everyday statement rings in both gold and silver (one each)
  7. VCA sweet Alhambra earrings in gold
  8. Pearl earrings
  9. pearl necklace in both gold and white gold for more formal occasions
  10. Diamond hoop earrings in gold and white gold

  1. 3ct unheated pigeon's blood ruby, crystal body not silky (obtained)
  2. 3ct "paraiba-type" (the correct term for any cuprians that are not from Paraiba, Brazil) tourmaline (obtained)
  3. 8 to 10 tcw Colombian emerald earrings, duck's neck green or at least alpine green, minor oil and below, very transparent
  4. Old cut chunky diamond and platinum necklace (eg Philips diamond necklace )
The problem is that now I want 5ct and up versions of #1 & #2. And also from better origins (Burmese, Paraiba) rather than Mozambique

Still waiting for the lottery!

  1. Santa Maria aquamarine and pearl choker. I actually missed out twice... first piece was a vintage mikimoto that I decided to give a week and it got sold. The second was a Christie's auction that I didn't bother looking at. I regret not bothering to figure out how to bid at auctions a few years ago. Not everything is 5/6+ figures and at least there is some QC
  2. Tahitian pearl + diamond rondelle necklace. This is usually max 5 figures from a decent jeweller but I can't purchase pearls unseen anymore after having a few bad experiences, so... maybe when travel resumes
  3. Gothic style Rhodolite chandelier necklace
  4. Panther earrings with tsavorite (the eyes) and ruby / rhodolite main stone
  5. Seaman schepps' colourful bracelets
  6. Vintage Buccellati rigato bracelets
  7. Almost everything from:
    1. Symbolic & Chase
    2. Boucheron's Hotel de Lumiere / Flocon Impérial collections
I don't think I'd wear most of these, just lie in bed and stroke them everyday lol

Previous list, might remove:
  1. 2+ tcw studs. I shopped around for a while but couldn't decide. Saw Lightbox jewelry but it's always OOS and also couldn't decide
  2. Cornflower blue sapphire ring or earrings
  3. Muzo green emerald, step cut. Wanted a ring but reconsidering given how clumsy I am and relatively fragile emeralds are
Found my previous list (had forgotten that I posted it) and it's so funny how everything has changed... I still find everything here attractive but pivoted towards collecting coloured stones instead.

1. Aquamarine - I can't get over how blue topaz and zircon look better for the same price (at least to me)
2. I did get a multicoloured tahitian pearl strand in the end (no rondelles), but ended up not wearing it much because sunblock
4. Asked my jeweller if his bench could make me animal inspired jewelry and he said my panther is likely going to come out looking like a dog... pass and slowly finding benches that can actually handle that sort of work

I still really like Seaman schepps and Buccellati but am planning on getting them 2nd hand, which is non-existent in my country, gotta travel

Haven't met a blue sapphire that I liked, went over to the dark side (rubies)

I did get a few gorgeous Colombian emeralds but only ~1ct, wondering whether I should save up for a 3ct Colombian or be happy with my 3ct Zambian.

For the moment i'm all about pavé diamonds jewellery.
I have been looking at a fair bunch of different possibilities for my all time wishlist.

I think at the top of the list i'm either looking for
1: a costum piece of a turtle pendant, as i just love turtles.
2: a Topka ring from By Birdie

I love my Cartier Love pieces (rings, necklace and bracelets) and really want the Love earrings to match. Either YG or RG, I'm not picky. I have my eye on a few pairs on Fashionphile and might just put a pair on layaway so I don't have to come up with a lump sum up front. Otherwise if I was to buy them brand new from Cartier, I'd have to save up for them. I really like the hoops and I need something more casual than my regular diamond drop earrings.

My wishlist but likely after med school!
  1. Tennis bracelet – either princess or round cut
  2. Cartier RG love bracelet — either plain or with 4 diamonds
  3. VCA RG Alhambra in GMOP and pave alternating
  4. Bvlgari RG pave serpenti ring
  5. Bvlgari RG pave serpenti bracelet
Not to wear all at once, of course. I do wear all of my rings often though and would keep the love bracelet on indefinitely.

So far I've gotten 4 other rings and a special gold bracelet with roses throughout but I don't know whether I should aim to finish collecting all of my rings or move on to bracelets for now! Any thoughts? :amuse:

Your bracelet with roses sounds so unique, I would love to see a picture if you care to share!
