Just about every bag I ever bought second hand off ebay. Most of them I've been able to get rid of. And a spare few were actually with keeping. But yeah, I've kinda had it with dealing with other people's mistakes.

So I was always avidly against Michael Kors but one day I was searching for a burgundy/ blood red clutch and saw a beautiful in the MK window. I got it on sale for about $200. I have used it twice and the leather has started peeling on the seams! Now I know to stick to my instincts and avoid the "final piece of the outfit" purchase

The faux leather camel color handbag is gorgeous Sparkletastic.

I know!!!! You're right! Ugh! It's a really pretty bag. But the faux leather feels...spongy. 😖 argh! I just can't.

Oh no! I'm so sorry you've had bad eBay experiences! Probably half of my bags are eBay / consignment finds and I've never had a problem. I'm really patient, very picky and always get them authenticated from two sources.

Don't give up. There can be some wonderful new / like new options out there!

Generally its best if you buy anything on line- to have seen it in real life before. Things like scale and finish can be very misleading and can become costly mistakes. The same goes with on line clothes. Having said that, it's a whole world out there and you can find good second hand items, my mistake could be perfection for someone else...

A MBMJ Posh Turnlock Dot in lemon from Off 5th a few years ago. For some reason, I thought the bag was so cute in-store and that the color would be easy to wear with. Boy was I wrong... it went with absolutely nothing in my wardrobe and I ended up hating the patent leather even though it's so soft. I tried to sell it on eBay but the resale value was too low so I gave it to my sister. I semi-regret giving it to her cos she gave it back with black marks over the front after she used it once or twice. Waste of $400.

That is a very bright colored bag. Why did your sister give it back to you after you gave it to her?

Mine is this miu miu aviator bag. It's massive & does not hold its shape with my stuff in it. It's lined in brown suede which got mucky the first time I wore it. The flap is the way it closes with nothing (zipper or clasp) really securing it. It is covered in pen marks as this was prior to me realising no pen in bag means no pen on leather disasters. I hardly use it and will likely get hardly any of my money back if I tried to sell it. Complete unlooked after Impulse buy ImageUploadedByPurseForum1439824688.491960.jpgImageUploadedByPurseForum1439824700.041807.jpg

It was hard for her to work it into her wardrobe as well. The bag was passed back and forth between me, my mother, and sister. Now it's sitting in my closet gathering dust. I'm actually thinking about dyeing it black so that it may get more use but I have no idea how to dye patent leather and I'm not sure if it's worth the time and hassle.

I love the look of the bag!!! Looks luscious!

I bought a camel color prada bag, I don't even know the name, it looks like the Celine luggage with two wings stitch out, it was just released at that time, I walked into the store, it was right in front of there, I wasn't in a mood so I tried it for probably less than ten mins then I bought. It's a pretty bag I admit but it is so delicate and easily show even just a drop of water mark. ..kind of regret but I keep telling myself that this bag style looks really good, so it worths. Regret indeed. It has been sitting there for almost few years only worn less than five times.
