I got the worst one, before I came here and knew what a Balenciaga was I got a fake and it wasn't even real leather, whatever it was, was peeling off everywhere it was so ugly I threw it away immediately. Iehave learned a lot since then, and it wasn't much money but I still cringe when I think of it.

OMG! We are kindred spirits. Your bag has to be too much fun! I bought a BJ bowler in leopard print sequins. I actually wore it and one of my BFF's threatened to shoot it and have it mounted if I wore it again. So I sold her off and thought hard about what I was doing with my life. 😂
OMG, your comment..... "So I sold her off and thought hard about what I was doing with my life" made me laugh soooo hard! Don't feel too bad, most of us have been there with the purchase of the "what was I thinking?" bag!

LMAOOOOO amazing. I also have a BFF who has threatened violence toward some of my fashion choices (a huge hooded faux fur coat comes to mind). I'm mostly a minimalist, but I have my moments. And they're usually major. 😂 Kindred spirits indeed!

LoL, you're not alone...I`ve had this bag almost a year & have never worn it. I love it but I think the shape makes carrying it kinda awkward.

Got this style in small size. It looked spacious but actually couldn't hold much things unless you let it open like a bucket. Finally let it go. Such a pity as mine is a pretty purple /aubergine colour. Well why keep it in the closet if I won't use it!!

My biggest regret was my Luella Bartley Gisele. I love the bag, but it's so impractical. I still have it and won't sell it. I keep it as a reminder to always choose function over aesthetics. I also like it as a collector's piece. I haven't seen one of those in the wild in years.
Besides...it looks good on my shelf. Nice to look at, but a beast to hold.

I recently received a Matt and Nat bag for my birthday. I had seen it in a store window while on vacay and had commented that it was a lovely color combo (light yellow, mustard yellow, and black) but didn't think much else of it as it was a bigger bag then I typically like to carry. I never entered the store or handled the bag. Anyhoo, a certain someone was apparently paying attention and thought it would make a great birthday present so went back and purchased it. When I opened the present, I was very surprised as I wasn't expecting the bag. It was really sweet that he was paying such close attention while we were window shopping. I will never tell him this, but I am horrified at the quality of this bag that he spent over $150 to buy. Like I said, I never handled the bag or even went into the shop, just simply saw it in the window and commented on the colors. Anyhoo, Matt and Nat (a company I had never heard of before) is a vegan leather bag company. This bag I received is very poor quality vegan leather. The overall bag feels cheaply made. Feels like cardboard covered in cheap vegan leather. The hardware on this bag is some of the cheapest I have ever seen. It isn't even real metal but is painted plastic. The bag shape is nice (a saddlebag shape) but it is larger then I like to carry and the bag just looks cheap up close. I cannot take it back as it was a gift and the store he bought it from is hours away anyway. I will carry it since I have it but I doubt it will last. It feels like a bag that will fall apart fairly quickly which is sad for a bag over $150. The only thing besides the colors that I really like about the bag is that the tag says the lining of the bag is made of recycled plastic bottles. That is a cool concept, but for over $150, I expect a much better made bag. I have seen better made bags at Target.

It amazes me how Matt & Nat always come up as having nice bags. I see them all in the time at TJ Maxx, Ross, and Marshalls. They are terrible, and that price is shocking. They're around $30 at the discount stores.

Filler bags.

I got a celine box bag that is lovely but it's not what I really wanted. Now it is languishing in my closet. When I do force myself to use it, I just do not enjoy it. I do not mind selling it off at a large loss of over 80% off what I paid for but for so little it is not worth my effort. So it'll stay in my closet till I can gift it or something.

Same for my LV alma bb. I wanted a white bag and it is a gorgeous ivory epi but it just doesn't do it for me. If I can't sell it I'll give it to my aunt, it's right up her alley and she's always in pastels so an ivory bag is made for her.

YES!!!! Filled bags are always regret bags!

I have a few but many I've sold (at a huge loss) but my stand out regret was the 3.1 Phillip Lim Pashli. I bought several (on sale thankfully) . Sent one back, resold 3 at a profit due to the sale price. They just weren't my style. The mini, which I liked the look of best, I kept buying even though the design of it made it too small to close when I actually put what I needed in it. I ended up with a medium and one day I was carrying it when I looked down and found it was so unappealing to me I went home and put it up for sale that day.

For me, it was the Celine mini luggage. I was head over heel with the bag when I first got it. I just could not stand the weight. It is sooooo heavy without anything in it. I had to let it go.

All my small crossbodies that don't fit a full size wallet, what a pain in the neck... All of them except one becoming gifts for teenager girls. They only need to fit their phone in it...:giggles:

I regret buying the Alexander Wang Pelican tote with neoprene on the sides. Definitely an impulse purchase. I've only sold 2 bags in my collection and it was the first to go.

I love almost everything about this bag .. except the hw color. I'm a silver hw type girl, it just suits my style more. I bought this three months ago, and I've only worn this once. I tried to convince myself to love this bag. I was drawn to the design and color, but hoping they had a silver or ruthenium version. All my other Chanel bags have silver or rhw, I just thought I needed a change. [emoji20]
