You all have given me something to think about. Maybe I will pull one of my mono bags out to use once all of this rainy weather has passed.
I have a python paddington and I feel the same way. Too delicate.Chloe python silverado. Loved it, bought it $$$$$$, too precious to carry it around (rough lifestyle) and now when i see the curling scales... i wanna

Calvin Klein Safffiano dome bag. Boring, blah, just completely not me. Sold this on eBay for about what I paid for it. I hope it made someone happy because it made me sad every time I looked at it.

My handle on TPF is Sparkletastic. So you know I like sparkle and style. But, I'd like to think I'm not tacky. (gosh, I hope I'm not tacky!)
Well (sigh) I think I didn't help my "I'm not tacky" cause when I bought this handbag. Coach Red Poppy Spotlight Sequin Satchel. What in the ham sandwich was I thinking??? I actually never wore this bag. I just liked to see it glimmering in my closet (I needed meds).
I got out of this bag with a profit of about 30%. I think they are becoming collectibles.😱

Craptastic! This has to be the ugliest bag I've ever owned!
While we were on a cruise, my fashion challenged mother urged me to buy it from the ship's store because it cost some nothing like $5 and it's one of our sorority colors. (Sorta, not really)
Anyway, I had buyer's remorse BEFORE I bought this hideosity and promptly shoved it into a dark corner in my closet when I got home - never to be seen again til this picture was taken.

Interesting thread, I haven't had any regrets quite yet. But I am sure I will as my bag collection slowly grows.
If it slowly grows you likely won't. You are probably being thoughtful about your purchases. 😊👍
Well I am a little regretful for purchasing all of my purses so far in such a short time instead of over time. I just started getting in designer purses this year and now I think I had an addiction, lol.
My quirky sense said it's beautiful, but my practical sense said it's just too much for real life usage and she's right. I still think it's pretty though. Like a show piece. But yeah... I wouldn't carry it either. Keep in the closet to admire only, which is definitely kind of a waste of money, unless I have lots to burn.
I have a purple coated canvas Mulberry bag that is so hideous that I'm afraid to try to sell because I'm convinced no one would be interested. I have no idea what I was thinking when I bought it years ago, and it pains me to think of that money wasted.
Glad this regret purchase was only ~$5 though. You should give it away to a little girl as a gift or something.
