A grey Marni bag that I purchased from an outlet for ~$400. It was light weight but I don't use it as often as my other bags. It's one of those impulse buys when you go to outlets and think everything was a good price (a discount with another discount type of thing). I'm happy that I sold it to make more room for my closet but I could've saved some cash had i not purchased in the first place.

Also, a black Stella McCartney "falabella" bag... definitely not worth the price tag for a bag that's not even real leather... but it is very beautiful..

And finally the Chloe Paddington in medium sized. There is just no way i can carry a bag that heavy anymore... I'm trying to sell it but having a hard time since it is no longer the "IT" bag. I also have the small sized and I would keep it because of sentimental values..

A LV multicolor bag from an Australian ebay seller ....saw heaps of bids on it and thought it was a "great deal" for what LVs were and bidded on it and won the auction. Was sooo happy until the bag arrived in person. Despite the fact that I've never owned an LV bag before (as this was my first), the bag was so clearly a fake. It screamed fake! SOOOOOO FAKE AND TACKY! :nogood:

The white part of the bag closer to the bottom had all gone a weird strange pink and the gold hardware was crappy quality and parts were fading!

It felt like a cheap plasticky bag that was big and bulky and I'd be so ashamed if I had to carry that damn thing out. :cursing::mad:I didn't even know what to do with it back then as I was new to ebay and didn't want to "start an argument" with the seller or have the seller leave me a crappy comment/feedback if I complained so I just thanked her for it anyway. Silly me! Would def have done things differently if it happened now than years ago since I was a nube back then. That bag sat in my closet for a while until I finally got the courage to donate it off to a Hospice shop close to home. Even then, I felt guilty donating a fake bag to a shop to be sold cheaply but I just didn't want that bag sitting in my closet both taking up space and reminding myself what an idiot I was for purchasing it. Now that I own several real LV bags that I've brought from boutiques and know what the quality should be like, I felt that the LV fake was such a waste of money that could have been better spent on a genuine lower-end designer bag. Definitely a major bag regret and learning curve.

Another one was a YSL satin clutch from ebay. This one thankfully was genuine. However, I have no idea why I purchased it...thought the silver satin was pretty and brought it. However, ever since I brought it, it has NEVER BEEN used. I feel sad whenever I look into the closet and see it sitting there...but I am just the sort of girl that would never use a hand clutch. Even when I go out for dinner, I wear a large shoulder bag! It is just something that doesn't suit my lifestyle. I'm a bit lazy to go on ebay to sell it at the moment but I think i'll either sell it later or just donate it away.

A cheap $20 bag from ebay (Korean seller)...its one of those ones that are mass produced, so prices are cheaper. I like the size and style...but when the bag arrived, it was already faulty with a hole in the interior lining. No point returning since the shipping cost returning would be the same as if I just ordered another identical bag!!! I simply just have no luck with ebay! Ive either gotten stuff that don't suit me, are faulty or fake! Wish I knew purse forum earlier! Would have saved myself so much trouble!

In some ways, I also regret almost all of the dooney and bourke Disney items that I brought - wristlet, small barrel bag (both look super cute but just too small to be used on a daily basis! :thinkin: ) I guess I was just too attracted to the cuteness and "had to have it" then...but kind of realized that in 10 years time, it would definitely look ridiculous for someone my age

Also slightly regret my LV totally damier azur PM. I actually liked the totally in damier ebene...however, the ebene only came out much later after I have already brought the damier azur.....should have waited...but oh well! Still love my totally! :smile1:

A Nancy Gonzalez croc bag and the Luella Giselle bag are what come to mind immediately. They're both in a pumpkin color. Just taking up valuable real estate in my closet.

My first 4 designer bags, bought without much thought about how much I love them or how often I'll use them. I bought them cos they were relatively cheaper or on sale. They've all been sold or given away, such a relief.

I regret not wearing a basic Fossil bag for years and saving for a Chanel flap which is the bag I always wanted. The price shocked me so much that I went through all the Coach and LV and still ended up wanting the Chanel, but now a whole lot cash-lighter.. Every single canvas LV and Coach bag is a regret. Esp the vachetta stuff..

A vintage Chanel lambskin jumbo maxi flap. I've used it a total of 3 times in 3 years. I got a bigger bag so it would be more practical but the lambskin kinda defeats that purpose. I'm too paranoid to use it so it sits in my closet. Should've gotten caviar.

I just realized that I've gone through 2 bag evolutions of sorts. My collection started with leather handbags of no name or unknown brands that I would find at Marshalls or TJMaxx. Then I got a better job and started collecting contemporary brands, mainly Rebecca Minkoff, MbMJ, and Coach. I sold all of the unknown brands off on eBay or gave them away to my friends. Once I got more established in my career, I bought my first LV and haven't stopped with the premier designers (Chanel, Chloe, YSL, Balenciaga, Marc Jacobs) since. Right now I'm in the process of selling most of the contemporary bags while keeping a few of the practical ones (MbMJ Natasha in black, several Longchamp Le Pliages).

I love the look of both my Juicy Couture Blueprint Harriet shoulder bag and Burberry Brit Haymarket Check tote but sadly they are heavy even when empty :( and aren't worn as much.. maybe just once in 3-6 mos.

Not exactly regret but I haven't been getting out my synthetic leather bags to use as often as I had intended when I bought them, kind of hard to get back to them since I now have genuine leather bgs.

Chloe Marcie Crossbody bag. The regular-sized one. I think this bag is so beautiful but hated carrying it. It was large, heavy, and bulky. Also the gold charms would hit me in the face if I opened the bag too fast. Also. I just hate flap bags. Major hassle to me.
