I got the brown Speedy 30... took me aeons to find it!

sighhhhhhhhhhh...................so pretty :girlsigh:

Is that a 30? I have the 35 in white. Put my name on the list the day it came out. Didn't think any more about it until I went in to pick it up and saw the brown. Wish I could have afforded to have both. I saw the brown on AFF or one of the other sites and I still couldn't afford it. It is so rich looking

Yes ma'am it is. I found the brown 35 a couple of times but always passed hoping the 30 would come along. So glad it finally did :cloud9:

technically not a regret since I love the style and got it before the insane price increases, but I really regret getting my Chanel 2.55 in lambskin instead of caviar, since that would have been so much better suitable to my lifestyle. Also regret not getting it in jumbo or maxi.

I, like a few others I saw on this thread, started with Guess purses. They are pricey when you are just starting out. I ended up getting a white one, pink one, denim, and cream. I used the cream one often and kept it in pristine condition. I have since put all the others off to consign. The beautiful pink/magenta still had the tags on it.

Then I moved to Coach. I have a lovely black leather/canvas flap, a Cream/light brown cross-body, and a cream wristlet. I wear them, and I can't bear to part with them because they were given to me by family and I cherish them. I use the black one often as my workhorse bag.

But now I've moved to Chanel and it is just so hard to wear the other bags when I paid so much for the Chanel. I want to wear them any chance I get. Thanks for letting me share my little journey into purses. hehe.

Long story short, no need to rush maybe and get a bunch of the same brand, you might not like that brand a few years from now. (I should take my own advice...I'm getting a pretty good collection of Chanels at the moment)

Last spring I purchased the Gucci Denim Blue Sukey.....I NEVER use it.....I thought it was so cute and fun at the time but now it just looks soooo tacky to me.....even my 17yr old hates it....thinking of consignment? What do you think?

I purchased a huge, leather Michael Kors tote bag which I planned to use to and from work to carry paper work, my iPad, two smartphones (work and personal), etc... It was so darn heavy even without putting my stuff in. Paid about $500 for it and sold it, hardly used for $200. Better to get some money for it than sit in my closet collecting dust.

I also have an LV Damier Trevi, about 15" wide so it is rather big so I seldom carry it to work as it is rather ostentatious. I only use it on weekends. I wished I had bought something smaller. Oh, and I also hate that there are so many LV fakes around.

Regret?
Pretty much every bag I have ever bought. Have I said this before? Wish I had just stuck with my banged up and uninteresting bike messenger bags. This purse obsession got way too expensive over the past few years. Not sure I'm the better for it.

Lol - sometimes I too think back fondly of the days when I was content with just one black bag.

Right now, my mock croc cambridge satchel sits in my cupboard, mocking me with its dust. Bought, never used.

Same. Ever since I bought my Le Pliage in January, I haven't looked back. I no longer desire any new bags...why couldn't this have happened sooner?
