YSL medium black patent BDJ - it's lovely, but I'm not a 'clutch girl' (i.e. I end up asking my boyfriend to hold it for me, or dumping it in the bottom of a shopping bag). AND I bought it only just after the price increase, so double cringe!

Hate to say it but: Tignanello bags. They wear so easily! Not even the cheapo B Makowsky's wear as quickly as the Tigs. In fact, even my LeSportsac stuff wears better than the Tigs. And Coach. The quality isn't great for the price tag IMO.

Longchamp pliage long handle. I bought it before a long haul trip 2 month ago thought it would be a good light travel bag. I used it on the flights and a few days when I was away. It's light weight alright but that's because the materials used are in poor quality! The fabric showed signs of wear after the first use! And half way through my trip, the stitching on one of the handles had come loose! Totally waste of money. I should never have believed in the hype! You really do get what you paid for!

Is it possible you got a fake? Stitches coming loose in a short span of time is very suspicious. :) usually it is the coners that show wear first...

I regret any of my lv purchases for a variety of reasons. I bought into the whole status thing and sold them w/in a few weeks of getting them. Now I won't buy them. I also have come to regret bags that I buy online from places with awful return policies. Now I only buy something online if I've seen it irl prior to getting it.

You really should bother so you're not out good money. I once had a very small issue with a Longchamp I bought after about a year's time and they just let me pick a brand new one in the same style. No hassle. I've used it regularly and had no issues. Good luck.:smile1:

Thanks for letting me know. I will remember to bring it with me next time I go that store to ask them to take a look.
