An Alexander Wang Max (bag that looked like a fanny pack) in taupe bubble leather. It looks alright in black (tough, kind of like a biker jacket) but the taupe was kind of meh with the dull hardware. I thought all of the pockets would be useful but there were too many compartments on it.

I sold it at a consignment store along with a Botkier I wasn't using that much and used the cash to buy a Jerome Dreyfuss Bob in a similar color (Vision) that worked much better with gold hardware.

For me, that was definitely a Dior bag in white lambskin. Beautiful bag but never worn, afraid that I would ruin it. White lambskin and clumsy me is asking for troubles (read dirty bag). So after it was sitting in my closet for a while, unused, I ended up selling it.

Another bag purchase I regret, was a Chanel naked flap in black/white with heart closure which I bought a few years ago. At the store, I wasn't really loving the heart closure but I bought it anyway because it was on sale. And where I live, it's not easy to find Chanel bags on sale. So, I think I've worn it maybe two or three times and then I sold it.
Now I've learned my lesson; never buy something just because it's on sale, only buy if I really like it :p.

I regret buying my LV speedy 30 in the damier ebene print only simply because it was my very first LV purchase ever and it wasn't in the typical Monogram print. But hopefully i will be getting the monogrammed print later this year. ;D

I don't really have any big bag regrets. Maybe just the super cheap things I bought on a whim at Target or TJMAXX or whatever. If I added all those up I could probably have the price for one really good bag.

Hi Luvallbags,I can so relate to regretting cross over bags as I don't think they are for me either.I have just purchased a Mulberry Antony but I can't get used to it.Do you think they look silly worn as an ordinary shoulder bag as I love it worn like that but my friend says it looks daft and should only be worn across body. What do you think---by the way she hasn't got a Mulberry but always wears her bags across body.I do realise it is easy to have your hands free but I am beginning to think I have made a mistake.Any advise very welcome as I am new to PF.

If you like when you wear it like a shoulder bag keep it. If not then sell it. I have one that the strap is too short on me to wear cross body and so I wear it like a long shoulder strap and get lot of compliments on it. Go by what you like.

Anything I bought simply because the price was too good to pass up... These bags end up sitting in my closet, or invariably failing to sell on eBay.

Totally this!!! And Marc Jacob Venetia. I hate handheld bags and never really get a use out of any. I used mine each for one time only and i got two. I should have trust my instinct instead of my friends. :(
