"What was I thinking?" Bag purchases you regret...

I didn't read the whole thread yet, but I want to confess right now.
I'm not ashamed to say that I am so flexible that I can fall for the worst mistakes I've made. I like ugly bags too, a lot. As long as a bag is well made and large enough, I will carry almost anything! Does it mean that I am open minded, or just have bad taste?!

I'm definitely an impulse buyer, that's how I got stuck with two bags that I don't even carry LOL

Strangely enough they're both Coach bags.

I bought a poppy glam tote, in freaking BRIGHT orange and HOT pink!
I mean, it's pretty and all, but I'm not as bubbly and as high spirited as that tote
may have you think lol.

Then I bought the Audrey satchel in Ocelot, and while it is absolutely mesmerizing imo, it just isn't practical for everyday use.

Now I'm punching myself for spending all that money when I should have just bought my dream bag to begin with. But I have a need to purchase something every single week and I just couldn't wait. UGH.

I have a few, such as the LV Richard Prince papillon (too small, not really my style), the YSL Easy in volcano (not sure why, maybe just the metallic colour and it's kind of shapeless), the Chanel pink degrade (beautiful but way too delicate) and the LV Mini Lin speedy (can't do handheld).

LV azur galliera. Should have taken everyone's advice about the problems with it. That bag was way too much money to spend for the brass rings to be ruining the vachetta...such a shame since it is a very pretty bag.

Coach Leah in Legacy Stripe... The bag was stunning but it was satin and man was it delicate. I baby my bags tons but it took to much work to care for this bag so I returned her to the store.

I already listed a few specific bags, but right now i'm all "WHAT WAS I THINKING?!?!?" about all the insane buying/selling/trading I did, and the HUNDREDS (maybe a few thousand!!! ack) wasted on this horrible handbag obsession.

However, I feel much better about it now and i'm glad that i'm out of that rut!

LOL! According to my BF I am as fickle as the day is long!

That is why I am soooo thankful for Ebay- I just keep the revolving door in my closet spinning.

The latest was the Coach Tattersall Graffiti domed satchel. Total OMG WWIT.

Previously I thought I was enamored of the LV MC Almas so I bought one in each color. Even though they were real they just looked fake so I sold them and bought the Watercolor which I love!

i totally regretted buying my Cartier bag. although it is beautiful... it still is after many years of it staying in the closet, i felt i didn't do justice to it. i'm unfair to the bag! huhuhu

I agree here. It's not so much one particular bag I regret, it's the buying in quantity and not really needing any of them. Sigh. Alatrop--just don't add it all up. I did that. Not pretty.

However, if I have a specific "What was I thinking?" it would be the Charm and Luck bags I got when I thought I was flashy enough to keep up with them.

I never really had this experience because before I buy a bag I think it through. It has to be in my mind for a period of time and even when I decide to buy it I will keep it a night or two before I get rid of security tag.
