I have a love/hate relationship with my black & white Coach op art Large Leah tote I got on sale from Dillard's website. The bag is too big for what I need it for, I have yet to fill it up & the Logos all over it are really busy & I find that people only stare at my back to see the logos & see what brand it is. I've yet to be complimented on that bag from anyone other than a family member. Having said all that; it is virtually indestructible & gets used as an everyday or rainy day bag when I don't want water spots on my LV or other bags. The vachetta on the Leah was also a good "test dummy" for me to try a leather protectant on. I must say that the Wilson's TLC leather spray worked so wll on this Coach vachetta (which has yet to recieve a single water spot,), I use it on LV vachetta & other expensive leathers.

Oh, I have had a lot of regrettable purchases  they got goodwill'd, even nicer ones - I know some people had to have been excited to get them :-)

As time goes on, I get sick of pretty much everything I own and it turns into regrets eventually. I can't commit, I suppose.

Anything crossbody I've bought has ended up sitting in my wardrobe, ignored and unloved - I've succumbed several times, convinced that I need the convenience of a crossbody (I do a lot of walking and often have groceries to carry, and so on). But I quickly discover that a large chest and a crossbody strap do not mix! The only time I really use them is in the winter - doesn't look so bad over a thick winter coat. It's a shame because I love the way the style looks on others and I adore the functionality. But for most of the time my little Mulberry Joel and Antony sit in my wardrobe.

This is very me. Goodwill has benefited tremendously from my mistakes.

Currently Regretting: I just bought a Michael Kors red stud Grab Bag today (for cheap, which is why) and think...probably not...it's already annoying me due to stiff leather and clashing with my red leather coat. And I got a Coral Nikki (for cheap) from RM that is also already tiring me, colorwise. So most likely, both will be returned.

Constantly regretting: I can't say anything I own I will love forever. I've gotten myself pretty sick of Rebecca Minkoff (even though her bags are pretty nice) just by overindulging. And, she's getting too hot. I like to carry stuff that other people don't, so much.

I think I regret everything. I can't think of one of my bags I'm not sick of right now. I have about 15-20.

At this point, I just want to put everything into a plastic Target bag and call that my purse. Screw fashion. ;)

The LV Speedy the oxidation process the handbag was stored properly and LV store would not repair due to the canvas cracking by the zipper stitching. I was very disappointed sold it on bay. I refused to send it to Lovin my Bags for a repair sold it let someone else enjoy it after they get it repaired.

The Gucci Irina flap in sand suede. I lusted and obsessed over this bag. I could never see it in person just the leather Irina totes. The online photos always focused on the flap and the gorgeous details. I bought it, and I am so disappointed. The bag is huuuge and oddly shaped. The shoulder strap is too short, and I'm certain I'll have to sell it for a loss. So she sits in my closet smirking while I curse the day I was seduced into buying a 1.5K suede bag!
Lesson learned~

my Julien Macdonald laptop bag.
it was a limited edition, and proceeds went to charity. it came in black, hot pink and white. stupidly i got the hot pink. at least if i had gotten the black i'd be able to use it more!!

My Marc By Marc Jacobs Baby Bag, pretty but I prefer my other bags so I've only wore it a few times and now I'm trying to sell it on ebay but without success... Such a waste of money!

2 Gerard Darel bags with pockets, I've never worn it but thank God I was able to sell them very easily and for a good price.

Now I think a lot before buying a bag!

I regret purchasing a custom matte bone bag from Belen Echandia. I sold it at a tremendous loss on ebay to a lovely PFer after using it just a little bit...I realize that the style just wasn't for me. My only comfort is that the new owner really loves the bag!!

Other regrets: the Bryna Nicola Minna bag that I bought last winter (not a good style for me, though I like the designer), and the two Ignes bags that I purchased (same story). All were resold brand new or almost new at a substantial loss.

The moral of the story: "Classic" bags are not for me. They don't match my wardrobe, my lifestyle, or my personality.
