A Liberty of London black leather bag that I got last year. It is absolutely beautiful and is embossed with the art nouveau 'Ianthe' design but it is so big that I can virtually climb into it myself! It would be perfect if only it was a bit smaller.

The thing I regret is that I could have gotten one special designer bag like a pre-owned MJ Stam instead of the two lesser known designer bags I purchased recently. I still love them very much, but second guess once in a while, since I originally sold off a piece of jewelry to fund for one special bag. When I had the $$, there were no bags at all I wanted. Now that I've spent the $$, all types of bags I had on my wishlist are coming out of the woodwork ;)

Ah, bless you - there's a lesson there for others.

My tan leather Christian Dior jeans-pocket shopper is not getting any wear. I thought I'd wear it this Summer but :nogood: took my Bal bowling and my Black Gucci travel tote all the time and I bought those way after.

I feel ashamed actually coz I saw it today and I'd almost forgotten I have it :shame:.

I might get crusified for this but it has to be my birkin. It is gorgeous....but probably the most uncomfortable bag to carry I have ever owned. It has not seen the light of day in about 2 years.....but I would never sell it. So it will just have to wait for my daughter to grow up.....

This is one of the reasons I haven't gotten a Birkin yet, well other than the sticker shock, and my worry that it wouldn't fit in my lifestyle at all.

Regret purchasing my Chanel Heart Tote from the Cruise collection...really inconvenient bag to store things in, and really stiff shape

I have so many regrets---

Sale Bags - - This happens to me too much. Finally I started buying bags at full price. There was the Medium chocolate Muse, too big and too structured, and too brown for me. YSL croc tribute, wore it, but it wasn't me.

Colorful Bags -- Also on sale! A super heavy Marc Jacobs tote bag in dusty rose/pink, cute but so not me.

Uncomfortable/heavy bags -- Some Belen E. bags that are cute, but not really comfy or everyday for me. Finally stopped wearing one when my shoulder ached.

VBH stingray clutch in tiger, so cute, so chic, so impractical, so unworn.

Ugh, the Saks sale madness last year really got me. I'm tempted to say never again, but who knows? I returned a bunch of bags after ordering them and ended up with a couple that I didn't really use and needed to Ebay.

Years ago I've bought fake Burberrys bag and I used only once-i've thought everybody's staring at me!I gave it away and never again had a fake one, especially not the one with logo!

I REGRET buying my LV Neverfull GM in the Damier canvas....it was when the neverfull had just come out with the damier canvas, and the sales associate was saying how cute it was and how much stuff it holds (i carry a sh** load of crap with me all the time) so i gave in and bought it..what was i thinking!!!!!!!??????? the bag hurts my shoulder everytime i wear it!!! o yea and also i bought A LOT of Coach bags when i was in high school and now i just gave them away...haha

Never again will i purchase a bag without thinking about ....

I totally agree with so many of you that regret your Coach purchases! My main regret is spending so much on the monograms...I still love my leather ones! I'm such an instant gratificationist (not a real word but I like it)! IF only I had been patient and saved my money for the bag I REALLY wanted!!!!
If I look at ALL the dollars spent on bags I may have carried a hand full of times it makes me SICK!
There are so many fakes that I just couldn't see myself carrying it, knowing I paid full price, and EVERY time I turn around I'm slapped in the face with a fake (that they so proudly carry) and them NOT knowing the difference between the two!
(I know that may sound so snooty but I can't help it!)

No regrets yet but was about to have some. I have a bunch of Prada's in black. Just love them but had to stop myself and say how many black Prada's do I need. I''m trying to really stop and think about what I purchase and try to buy something more unique (could still be a Prada). We will see how this works :D

What a great thread! I regret buying bags that look great, but aren't user friendly. For example, I learned the hard way that I don't like bags with flap closures... my first Botkier bag has one and it is a pain to get in and out of. Since then, I've made better Marc Jacobs and LV purchases, but I will never buy another flap closure again!!!

a balenciaga 09 charbon make up (MU)which was an impulse buy.
it is lovely but i was too scared of ruining it by carrying it inside my bag every day with makeup, pens, etc (which i think was the pint of the bag anyway) but i think the biggest draw back was the colour, don't get me wrong, it is beautiful but i am so tired of brown...
she's no longer with me, she's gone to a lovely TPF'er who's giving her the attention she deserves!
