What styles have been discontinued? What is the next one?

Sorry Girls i'm just learning abt balenciaga's and i was wondering if the purse style is the same as the first??? or is it a totally diff style.

It's different from the first--a bit bigger, flatter and no shoulder strap. Corners are more rounded. It costs $100 more, maybe more if the prices have been raised on the purse. I think they may have been, but I'm not really sure about that. Maybe someone else knows if they're still $1095? If you see some of the pictures above, you'll see what I mean in terms of size and style.

It probably hasn't been selling as well because people always think it's too flat because it isn't gusseted (is that a word?) but I have the 05 rouge & it very versatile & Gorgeous... holds a lot more than the classique & fits easily over the shoulder. They discontinued it once before when it was the shopper... I think that's what it was called??

who did you ask? i asked daphne and she was as surprised as me when i asked her whether or not the purse is discontinued. please tell me the name of the sa that you talk to... i am gonna call daphne again tomorrow and dont want to sound like an idiot insisting it is discontinued without any proof.

^^ Ya, I'd like to know for sure! We're getting mixed answers here. I hope it won't be discontinued... I'm still banking on getting one someday! I don't think it should be necessary to discontinue this style if I were a decision maker at Balenciaga even if it isn't one of the top sellers. I think they ought to produce fewer to reflect whatever sales figure there are for the purse style. I personally love the purse...

As for me, I have the Black Purse ... but I'm finding that it's really too small for me (I really carry too much stuff ... believe me, I've tried to pare down, but I can't). Anyhow ... it may get 'jettisoned' in the near future ... I do LOVE the *style* of this bag though.

being a person who cannot let things go as i am, i just called a gain. a guy answer the phone and he also was not aware that the purse will be discontinued. he told me to call back monday so he can ask "a person that might know".
just wanted to let you girls know.
