Congrats on your black Purse, Ceejay! This is such a great style, isn't it? I am just liking my ink one so much. There's something about the look of it. And of course being able to wear on my shoulders is such a plus.

Oh no---say it isn't true!!!

I LOVE the Purse style--I've never even seen one "in real life," but they are GORGEOUS in all the pics I've seen!!!

I have The Purse in Khaki and in Cornflower. The khaki is one of my alltime favorite bbags because it is the most scruptious leather of all my bags and the color is so beautiful. I'm definitely hanging on to it now given they might be gone forever....Uggghhh!

I love the Purse style too... have it in the 05 Rouge ... they discontinued it once before when it was called the Forum ?? & brought it back last year... so maybe they will but I hope not ;-((

gosh, the more i read this thread, the more sad i get about it :crybaby:...i wish more girls would give this style a try :shrugs:...when i bought mine, i'd never even seen one before (i was new to TPF) & wasn't looking for one...sarah @ the nyc store brought it out to me in the emerald color, i tried it on & instantly fell in love :love:...it's so elegant & is such an amazingly versatile style...it's big enough for work, but not so big that you can't carry it into evening...and i loved it because it was more unique than the most popular styles...it was the 3rd b-bag i ever bought (1st my little miss black twiggy, then my grey hobo/day & then my emerald green purse) :tender:

Hi Aaallabama (dang, that's hard to type) - do you prefer the purse over the day? What are the pros/cons of each.

I'm starting to think of the purse in blue india now......

welp, i think the purse is more elegant than the hobo/day :yes:...the hobo/day is a much more casual-looking bag...where the purse, has a more sophisticated look to it...honestly, i'm ashamed to say i haven't even used my hobo/day once yet :shame:...but i've used my purse several times & it's my favorite bag out of the 2...i can't think of any cons to either of them 'cause i :heart: them both...but something about the purse just appeals to me more :tender:

I have had the '05 caramel purse for about five months. It is a great style. But I haven't even used mine yet. I find myself grabbing my day/hobos on the weekend and tend to use MJ or LV bags during the week. I plan to eventually start using this one though.

I had also heard that they might be discontinuing the Twiggy! Has anyone heard that?

Wow ... that is great news!!! Gee ... I wonder if Barneys is just not going to carrying the style anymore, and that's why they said it was being discontinued. I'm going to be sure to correct them ...
